I have successfully jailbroken my PS3, gotten a working Tree Patch on it, and messed around with it. I decided I had enough fun and it was time to put the patch onto my other PS3 which can connect online.

I did the Data Transfer from my lower firmware to my online firmware; it all said it went smoothly. Problem is, the patch is just a normal patch and it will not work in split-screen, private match, or online.

There are no traces of it on that system, or the original system either.

What am I doing wrong?

Could it possibly be my patch? Or the PS3? Or anything else. I've been trying to think of all kinds of reasons, but nothings hit me.

I doubt it is the ps3. most likely the patch.

Wasn't the problem. I hate to keep bugging you, but do you think it could be the Awesome File Manager? Have you tried using it before?

I have never tried it before. I find FTP simple enough lol.

My FTP server won't connect now. It did earlier. Oh well, when it does decide to connect, I will try that.

thats the first thing i did. untill i tried a patch with a aimbot it was jeffs stealth aimbot. after that i tried to put in lots of patches and none work. not at all. that is wierd.

i never had to restart or anything. i transferred by ftp then checkd if hacks worked or not then right away did data utility. now its giving me problems.

i see then ill try out blackb0x as ftp server is giving me problem. although when i transfer it to 3.41 i check it right away and it works but then when i do data transfer shit goes to a normal patch.

check the last 3 numbers 192.168.1.100 could have changed to something like this 192.168.1.101 that happened to me and then i went to filezilla and corrected it.

Still can't solve mine. It sounds like we have the same problem too. My patch just keeps going back to normal.

i cant not home right now. in the morning ill try blackb0x but try out blackb0x as albamahit said never gave him a problem. i dont kno what it is but im gonn get my shit to send me tht patch i found that rapes online!!!!!!!!!! try it out with blackb0x bro and dont turnoff your ps3.

1. transfer patch to ps3.
2.load mw2 on 3.41 ps3 to check if the patch works.
3. if it works just do data transfer

that is what i did and worked for me till now.
