Hello NGU community sorry I have not been on for a few months, but I am back now. (My new name is xInfin8 I don't use Modder1337 any more )

Anyway I have just finished my new tool Patch 2 PS3



The tool allows you to send patches to your PS3 straight from you computer you will need a jail-break and black box.

I will not release the tool because as its not been tested on a PS3 (I don't have JB any more )

yh rep really good must mean somthink.....but i have my own problem if you have solution ill donate to your paypal....basicly i have a ps3 on 3.55cfw geohotz and i have a ps3 on 3.66ofw i want to tranfer my game data/patches to the 3.66 from my 3.55 ive read that it not possible since update 3.61 (i think) witch obviously mean to play my patches ill have to update my 3.55cfw to 3.66 and just play without jb homebrew but that my last solution two questions

1. if i update to 3.66 from 3.55cfw will i keep all the patches i have like waw cod4 and mw2 1s or would the 3.66 deleat them ??

2. i have another ps3 hdd on vertion 2.72 could i update that to 3.55 then transfer data to my 3.55cfw ps3 then update that ps3 (2.72) to 3.66 and play them online ??


we got off bad start my hating post soz n hope here some decent info from you (lol joke)

just stop.. follow this...:
1) put on a hacked patch on your 3.55 CFW PS3
2) plug an ethernet cord to your CFW PS3 and the other end to your OFW PS3
3) Data Transfer
4) Profit.

I have been away from the ps3 scene for the past 3 months due to exams to i am not 100% on the latest developments but here goes.

If you update you should keep the cod 4 patch (updates for cod4 could be coming soon this will remove all patches "source fourzerotwo") but unsure about MW2 if your are on 1.12 then it should stay but if you are on a lower version then you will need to update to play online (this will remove the patch_mp.ff file and replace it with a clean one).

About transferring take a look at this post You must login or register to view this content. (3.66 to 3.65) could work

And I don't understand Q2 do you mean transfer data from your 3.55 cfw to your 2.72 (when that is upgraded to 3.55 ofw) then upgrade that to 3.66

yes but the 3.66 update made it so that you cant transfer to 3.66 on lower vertion has to been on same now it 1 there new ways stoping patches getting threw check it out urself go to data tranfer and read first bit it tell you there aswelll plus i read plent about itlast night i need diffrent way but i dont no anyother sept update the 3.55cfw to 3.66 then i can play them i might do it dnt really matter i got another 2.72 ps3 getting fix

if you do upgrade to 3.66 all your patches will stay, b4 you do that i would put a patch for all 3 cods, including waw zombie patches...

That is not true. I have data transfered since 3.66 has come out. There would be a million threads about it.
I know it won't work the other way 3.66 OFW--> 3.55 CFW, I tried yesterday, was tired of having to load everything back on my PS3 after DT.
