(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Who thinks the night vision googles will work as promised or are they a kiddy toy?

Personally, I know they are a novelity item, thats cool to show off when your friends come over. Kinda hard to explain when you have ladies over but still a cool idea. Its cool we get better night vision googles in video games than the real life terrorist can get ahold of- HAHA.

I say they work but not very well.

My vote is kiddy toy.

Adding fuel to the fire. These are from Toys R Us. They retail for $79.99. The eyeclops. I bet they don't even cost $20 to manufacture them. The picture vaguely resembles the ones in the in prestige edition. If they work that good I will be amazed!!!

I HAS PET PENGUIN PLOX?
Wow. Your probably right about those goggles that you showed from Toys R Us only costing $20 to manufacture. They are probably cheap to make. But I would also be surprised if the goggles that came with the Prestige Edition worked that great.

Still, if they worked half as good as that picture shows thats pretty good for a cheap set. I mean its not going to be 3rd generation NVG's like the military has. But come on do you think InfinityWard would risk pissing off a bunch of loyal people to make a few bucks on some lousy googles. I bet they work atleast as good as these.

I might shift my vote to functional. Maybe for paintball or airsoft.

Yeah your right. I didn't even think about that. But I know that they won't be nearly anything like the military has. Those are extremely expensive and high tech. But your right about Infinity Ward probably not wanting to piss off a bunch of their customers. I'm assuming that the goggles will work at least half way decent lol. But I still don't know if I will get them. I don't really want to spend $150 on it.

Lol. I read that and pictured them shipping out like a pair of goggles with like a light strapped to them with green saran wrap on them and when you turn it on you get night vision. What a way spend $150! lol.

It'll be all good and cool until some kid actually tries to use them. Then runs face first into a tree, splitting his head open. His parents will file some lawsuit. Infinityward will come out and say they were never intended to be used as night vision googles and how there was a disclaimer attached to them.

Mark my words, somewhere this will happen.

Omg! I didn't think about that either! I know that that will probably happen! There will probably be a disclaimer with them to keep Infinity Ward from getting sued. Because I know that some little kid is going to be stupid and try to do something dumb with them. Like possibly think that it's somehow a good idea to ride a bike on a pitch black road with them on lol.
