Personally, I know they are a novelity item, thats cool to show off when your friends come over. Kinda hard to explain when you have ladies over but still a cool idea. Its cool we get better night vision googles in video games than the real life terrorist can get ahold of- HAHA.

I say they work but not very well.

Thats amazon BS though. Even $1000 NVG's dont work in absolute darkness. Night Vision works by amplifying ambient light such as light cast off the moon or street lights. The Infrared light attached to night vision goggles increase the the ambient light further.
