Well most of us dont have to buy grocieries or even enjoy books. And to me, when i got my first ps3 game, i went and traded in all my ps2 cheapie games. I know 60 bucks is a lot but it seems to be one of the great games going on the market, i want qolfenstien first, or uncharted 2 but mw2 is one of my first must gets.
But i agree with you, you could buy more useful things with 60 dollors

Technically, no game is worth $60. They are overpriced as hell. I think game prices really need a price cut, in California the game actually comes out to about $65 because of tax(oh wait we got a tax increase) so it'll be a little over $65 for me to buy any normal priced PS3 game.
