(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ***PLEASE NOTE*** We are currently experiencing problems with the servers for Modern Warfare 2 on the Playstation 3. We are working to resolve the issue, but do not have an ETA at this time. Thank you for your patience. - <--- Official post on the activision support website.

I just wanted to post this to let everyone on PS3 know this is NOT AN ISSUE WITH A PATCH, and it does NOT take a patch to fix this issue, they are transfering to a new server that is bigger and more stable, as they did not expect to have as many users online at one time (over 200k last night online at once.)

This is not an issue with the trophies, and this is not an issue with party invites.

TROPHIES WERE PATCHED AND SUCH IN Patch 1.02!!!!

PARTY INVITES WILL BE PATCHED BY Friday November 13th, 2009. Please be patient.

THE SERVER WILL BE FIXED WITHIN 2-3 hours so don't believe ANYTHING idiots say when they say it won't be fixed today or that it is a patch issue.

Smile

didnt over 200,000 pre-order pre-order the game anyway? so if they used their brains on this they would know that this would happen, way more than 200,000 copies were pre-ordered and were delivered on the day, a day before or a few days before

Thanks, and yeah it's a pain but wouldn't trade her for anything.

they had over 300k pre-orders and about 100k paid in full before hand.

Just with that 100k fully paid, that is more than enough to get a decent server on the go, even if its just for a few weeks after launch. Then go to the shitty servers once traffic has lowered a bit.

It appears the servers are slowly coming back: "#MW2 PS3 Update: MP Servers gradually coming back online. Some users may still experience issues. Also, EU Players get Trophy patch tonight." Source: You must login or register to view this content.
