(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Sorry if its in the wrong section, THANKS A LOT if you show your support by reading it and sharing your thoughts. Thats if you get a chance as it will most likely be shot down 100 pages within an hour by people looking to expand their eFame when infact they are expanding this game to trash. This is NOT DIRECTED TOWARDS ANY MEMBER, I DIRECTED THIS TOWARDS MYSELF AND THE ENTIRE CHEATING COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE.

Thanks for your time...

"Everything intercepts us from ourselves." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

I will start this off by saying that at one point in time I was able to proudly say that I was at the forefront of hacking some game, whether that was SOCOM 2 and through out the series, the PSP or more recently the PS3 and MW2. Ill admit unlike others from the past of great defeats including military leaders etc that what I have done was completely wrong, Ive destroyed games for thousands, been worshiped like a king and in the end done nothing but wreck something for someone else. I originally thought when I first started to learn how to code I was doing something good which I always tried to maintain to code for learning purposes and not gain, times have changed and look where I am today... I am writing this 'article' because I feel partly at fault for everything that happened to a game that whether we admit it or not took years to design and in a few weeks it was like it didn't even matter. I was a leader throughout everything Ive been a part of and I think tonight and for the times of the future I have to be a leader now. Let me say in NO way are we different from those during the ps2 days, everything spread like wildfire like it is now but thats why we need an 'intervention' to assess what we have messed up and our plan to fix it. I will cover, what our problem is what that truly means and how to fix it along with our past, present and future.

The first step of fixing the problem is to admit what the issue is and an honest method of how we will fix it as lets face it if we dont do something today then what Is going to happen tomorrow? I started posting the information I did for the sole purpose of education not the destruction of a game which in all honesty I should have seen it comming as it had the same warning signs of its predecessors, it all started with something so simple but then turned into a blaze and then everyone had to have it. We need to realize that its more than some stupid score on the leaderboards, even though it may have been cool at one point we need to fix it and trust me if we dont it only gets worse from here on in. We can either work together to fix what we have damaged or just ignore it and think it will repair itself.

Lets face it we are selfish, greedy for popularity "hackers" that really are only looking to improve our eGo. We have to face it that we are the people to blame and I blame myself as for as far as I can remember that after the leaderbaords were exploited I was the one to lead this nation to cheating I dont blame anyone else, most people are naive when they cheat this game they were not part of history's past they dont know or dont see what can truly come if not a single man will stand up for whats right, we cant leave it to IW to fix everything we fawk up, they put in extra time, wasting time fixing our errors or rather should I say 'our stuck up awesomeness' I always said I dont condone hacking and In ways I would contradict myself when I would do it but we HAVE to see what we have done wrong and we have to act on it now, NOT IW, US(we), YOU, WE AS A COMMUNITY. IW can do whatever they want, they wont stop us, us stops us, us(we) tells us when to end and put a stop to our foolish behavior. Lets take action and realize that yeah there is a whole other side to posting some tut how to hack the gamesave, how to get on top lets try and face it in the end it doesn't really matter.

How can we fix it? We can only fix it if we can all agree and realize that it is for the better than some rank, number or rep. Let me explain why I choose the quote "Everything intercepts us from ourselves." yes, it might not make sense but just think about it, it goes along with this situation because everything WE are becomes the GAME, if we are greedy then the game will be filled with people obsessed with ranks, if we want fame we will do whatever it takes to obtain us that fame whatever that may be such as posting a tutorial a new exploit or hack just to get up our eGo. If we want to move past this and make a changed than we will have to work together as a community, as the NGU nation to fix what is wrong. Lets be proud saying we not only started it but we were wise and brave enough to end it as a cost to whatever that may be. I personally am done with it mainly and will be like that because we need to be the better man, like Ive said IW can release a million more patches but we will ALWAYS be the ones to blame or become the fame. I guess it all just comes down to being human, having greed and those like myself and others who want to be the better man.

I hope that the above post has made you think in some way, spark something in your brain to notice what we are doing wrong and why we need to fix it. For those who were there in 2002 on the forefront of what we call console hacking I hope you can place yourself back there such as like what I have done to support the cause, we all will complain again now about MW2 like we did for SOCOM we need to realize it is NEVER to late to fix what we have messed up even though this game only now has a few scars we can walk past them as a community if we work together for a common goal. Please post your thoughts and what you feel about this game being glitched, exploited, abused, and hacked in numerous ways. We have to think and act as a community to get anywhere And please remember....

"It takes one person to damage what is truly valued, it takes a nation to put it back together." -unknown

Everyone has their choices and opinions and this is just your one (bmxdude9) nobody is ever going to stop hacking, glitching, cheating etc just because somebody else says that is it wrong, as you said it is for fame and many people have become famous in the past through doing bad things and at other peoples expenses and that is never ever ever ever ever ever going to change lol :p

Nope... if nobody was hacking, then there would be no need to fix them. As you said, there will always be someone hacking, but NGU has some of the best. And some holes you can't fix. Like bypassing in COD4. There was no way to stop that.

Let's face it, we're here to make the game easier for us, not to help out Infinity Ward.

Exploitation - 1
Resistance - 1

If no-one hacked(which is simply not possible) there's bound to be someone who pops up and does it, maybe even by accident, and then they would not be wise to fixing it. I'm kinda tired so hope you understood lol

Plus, times have changed. What happened to Socom could never happen again as long as the devs want their franchise to keep running smoothly. I mean look at the leaderboard hacks, IW is already cleaning it up, and it's been what, less than a week since the public release of that glitch? And in a few days they are going to release a patch making it so you cannot exploit it anymore.

Releasing them publically basically FORCES IW to take action and get it fixed. Unless you can somehow contact IW directly, public releases and detailed description on how to do them is the most effective way for devs to fix the holes.

I still support the idea of using hacks to stop hackers.

oh dear if you had a PSP you probly would have heard of me and I am 100% sure you have no idea how a cheat device works. I programmed on both the PSP and PS2 and I know how to boot perfectly on both of those systems using functions in C NOT MIPS, I dont even need a true value I just used the location of the sce functions and corrupt it, BAM everyone gone. I think I sorta know what I am talking about, and NO screwing up a game is NOT telling devs to fix the "wholes" if you want it fixed REPORT IT, Dont go releasing crap to boost eFame. And dont say I have any idea what eFame is Ive been surrounded by it.

Well now let me explain why I posted this and maybe you guys will obtain a slight insight by this. The reason I often refer to the socom scene is well because it ran and operated the same way this game is going, started off with a few hackers(MvH) who actually knew what they were doing and then we soon had hundreds of people wanting to "hack" like we do now, you see hacking isn't modding a binary file or copying a file to your HDD and people fail to see that its not about the fame what so ever... When I posted what I did it wasn't for the purpose of becoming famous all in all I could care how popular I am on these forums and well quite frankly people will still fail to see where we are heading. People who claim to know the socom scene cant even truly explain what it was like to be a part of it and well just like it was on the ps2 mw2 is heading the same way. Okay so I get hacking is fun, BIG WHOOP, its not. Claiming to be helping IW with hacking "to fix the wholes/bugs" isn't why people truly hack its actually the ONLY time in all my time with the Sony series in hacking that people have used that. I have never even really heard from people stating that they are doing this to do something new face it, its not. I claimed what was going to happen months before the game was released, and now look its an epidemic.

If people dont learn from their mistakes we are bound to repeat them again, again, and again... and look we have a million times I know hacking might be fun trying doing it for a few years and see after that if its still fun. Best of luck to whatever you believe but people will keep ignoring whats deep down, and really I have to side with IW on this one, we spend a few minutes hex editing then they have to spend extra hours writing a patch. Now let me make that clear for those who complain about them(IW) failing @ patches. I would like to see YOU write up code to fix what we do, it takes a whole lot more work and effort to clean up after us than spending a minute running a mod program.

People in the end need to think why if at all we should truly hack, now I am not saying its bad but for the reason why we are doing it, getting pissed off because if someone doesn't release some tool or new 'hack' that its useless, people need to think what they are truly doing.

Thats it for now I guess. Also its just a weird title ignore what I put as the thread name.

Nice post.

When i first started hacking i thought it was the coolest thing.
I never cared what the DEVS had to go through or the people who play the games legit went through. I stopped because i eventually seen what happened to ftb2.

Every now and then i feel the urge to hack.. So i do however if i do find something i no longer release it publicly. Sometimes i even inform the DEVS of this issues to get patched.

So you see if you really do find hacking enjoyable like my self do it for the good of the TRUE gamer community.

Use your skills in finding exploits and let the developers know about them.. Dont release anything you find to the public.. Just the developers ..

You could still do what you want for your own learning proposes/fun and feel good about it. Maybe even get a job doing this.
You can influence people to follow you if you really stick to this. Then maybe we will see a all new anti hacking scene in the future.

I really enjoyed your post dude i hope you keep this mind set.
