Had a decent challenge requirement to obtain them. The downside was that it was only for certain weapons, and you had to finish all the challenges, with all weapons, in that category, to get it.

Was rumored to have them. With the eventual hacking of the game, a Gold Desert Eagle could be used, but modeled after CoD4
Black Ops
To me, BO gold camo was a real challenge to obtain. It meant that you were dedicated to getting to 14th prestige, which is hard enough for some people. Then you had to have 50,000 CoD points to spend, to finally have it

Personally, I think it should show some skill and a certain dedication (i.e- prestige level) to obtain.
100 game winning kills with that particular weapon, finish all challenges for the weapon and be at least 5th prestige to be able to have it

What are your thoughts?

The way I see it;

- COD4 Style: Promotes cheating/boosting.

-Black Ops Style: COULD promote boosting to rank up faster, but also requires skill to prestige and win wager matches.

If they could do something, like a mix of them both for MW3, that would be awesome.

CoD points are annoying.. I hope it's by getting a number of headshots or kills. Much simpler.

unlocking stuff by kills/headshots brings some fun to the game.. unlike black ops.

Cod4 style! Because Black ops gold camo suck's, it looks really bad

Reaching the highest prestige allows you to unlock the gold camo, but to obtain it you must complete certain challenges with the said gun. Headshots, kills or some new challenge with gun would be nice. I personally think the BO gold camo looks ugly, nothing too special, but if BO had pack-a-punched gun camo as the final camo, wow.

And I think having 1 gold gun camo per category is a good idea, but I would like the player to have the option to be able to select which gun he wants gold, and the rest of the guns' gold camo in that category get locked.

I think they should have challenges for gold guns becuase i think it would make the game more challenging

Gold camo = 500 headshots?

But then that would encourage boosting.

I prefer black ops style, technically its easier to get the camos in mw AND MW2 because of boosting and hacking whereas treyarchs games are far more superior, the should join together, imagine treyarchs no hack and no glitch and dedicated servers with mws graphics, unbeatable.
