Had a decent challenge requirement to obtain them. The downside was that it was only for certain weapons, and you had to finish all the challenges, with all weapons, in that category, to get it.

Black Ops
To me, BO gold camo was a real challenge to obtain. It meant that you were dedicated to getting to 14th prestige, which is hard enough for some people. Then you had to have 50,000 CoD points to spend, to finally have it

Personally, I think it should show some skill and a certain dedication (i.e- prestige level) to obtain.
100 game winning kills with that particular weapon, finish all challenges for the weapon and be at least 5th prestige to be able to have it

What are your thoughts?

It needs something really ridicoulus like the Cod4 style.
It was more fun and you got a more b34Zt feeling when obtaining it.

You wont be able to boost in Mw3 so forget that

In my opinion, you're wrong my friend.
COD4 was too hard. 99% of the Gold Guns on that game today are from boosting and Challenge lobbies. In my point of view, the only realistic one was the shotgun class.

Black ops was a nasty one as well. I got bored too fast - didn't have the long term appeal that Mw2 did - so I never got them... Although I did, and still do have, an xbox live account which does lol. Which I will in fact be selling on ngu rather soon.
