Hey guys, I'm just making this thread to say that past couple off weeks I been hearing alot of people saying that they are not gonna get MW3 and BF3 will be so much better and I highly disagree with that. Modern Warfare series is basically best FPS out in market, not even best FPS, best selling series as well. Even if BF3 actually as good as you guys think its gonna be, MW3 will be alot more better than BF3 and I guarantee Most people will be playing MW3. Personally me, I rather play MW3 than BF3. Most of you said BF3 is more realistic and stuff and I don't really don't play a game to be realistic. I play for to be fun. I enjoyed MW and MW2 more than battlefield and battlefield 2. So I'm buying Modern Warfare 3. I will probably get BF3 too but I'm most likely gonna enjoy MW3.

I know a lot of people will begin to flame me and start talking trash about COD since you hate it only because it's popular and only because its publisher happens to be Activision. That's sadly pretty much the reason for the hate COD has been getting recently, which is quite sad, since it's in fact a high-quality AAA franchise developed by very talented devs that just want to please the gaming crowd.

Anyhow, we know that MW2 wasn't the most balanced game in the world, but that's only because IW had that stupid fight with Activision, a lot of people got fired etc. It's the reason they don't want to fix the game, as weird as it may sound.

Black Ops has been a really high-quality title, and Treyarch are beginning to learn how to make titles that rival even the mighty IW. There is no need to hate on Call of Duty because of its publishers or because it sells millions.

Infinity Ward released CALL OF DUTY 4 more than three years ago, which went on to be the most praised FPS game since the original Halo. It became a huge success critically and commercially, was exceptionally good and got the sequel MODERN WARFARE 2, which was even better with more perks, killstreak rewards, weapons etc.

NOW, IW know what people want, in MODERN WARFARE 3. They know what they did right and wrong in MW2 and COD4. They will not make the same mistakes again, such as an overpowered weapon attachment like noobtube, One Man Army or Commando. They will listen to the community, to why the most think CoD4 was the best, and they will make MW3 the best game in the COD series, by far.

IW can't possibly fail this one. It's simply impossible, taking into account how skilled they are, and the fact that they know what people liked in COD4 and MW2, and disliked too.

I've been reading, and most of this forum and youtube videos comments people are arguing and fighting and stuffs. Its stupid that because in the end they are both good games and there's no reason to be fighting and arguing with other people just because people choose one game over the other. They both gonna be great games and probably the 2 most sold game in 2011. However, you guys seriously need to understand that there is nothing wrong with MW3. You guys have it fix in your heads that BF3 is more realistic is better and FYI video games are not made to be realistic. They are made to be entertaining and fun. If you like realistic stuff and why don't you buy a real gun and go hunting or shoot people. I'm not saying MW3 will be the bestest FPS ever or something, but for **** sake what does it matter? No one's telling you you can't enjoy Battlefield. Stop telling people to stop enjoying COD. Modern Warfare 3 will be a guaranteed a whole lot better game, it will sell billions.

I'll just go ahead and point out 3 simple facts.

1) What you think has no relevance to the production of this game.
2) What I think has no relevance to the production of this game.
3) All of the aforementioned people will be buying and playing this game at launch.

That is all.

Judgements on games can only be made once you have experienced it by playing it

I probably get both games and once I play it I will see which is better. there is no doubt that mw3 is going to sell. COD has a bunch of fan boys so just because a game sells a bunch of copies does not make it a better game.

are you crazy. its looks exactly like mw2. exactly. come on now. you can tell some what how the game will be before it comes out. so before wasting 65 dollars on a crappy game i will rent it . and yes this game looks like crap compared to bf3. and im talking from experience i have cod4-7 and i have bfbc1 and bfbc2. mw3 will sell like crazy to all the people who aren't suppose to be playing it ( the children) . no one is hating on mw3. everyone is talking the truth. str8 up facts. and its not just NGU its the impression everyone got on E3 from seeingboth games

you say they know how they messed up and they are going to fix it. but the FACTS are mw3 was being developed when mw2 came out. thats a fact. iw personal got fired/quit , sledgehammer came in and finished it off. so using these facts it is known that mw3 was being built along side mw2 thats why the games looks like the same crap packaged diffrentlly. and like you said my words or yours dont mean shit so why the hell did you even open up the thread just to rant????? no damn point behond your reasoning. so yes you will buy mw3 along with a legion of lemmings doing the same thing and just feeding activision loads of money for the same game every damn year. its not even diffrent stuff its just now SOME diffrent killstreak , SOME new guns , AND NEW MAPS. and every year you keep paying for the same shit and trusting activision and robert gay ass bowling. /facepalm. congrats kid your exactly what activision wants. a dumb lemming buying giving them over $100 every year (+ dlc)
and some other fun facts. respawn ent. the people who left ifinityward for the people playing bf3 multiplayer during e3 , the ceo of activision wanted to play bf3 due to all the lines and everyone in e3 talking about it and got denied by EA . even the ceo of the company that makes mw3 wanted to take the beautiful bf3 on a test drive :dance:

There is one major factor we all miss. BF series is more of a war type series. Its about an actual battle where as MW is fictional. Both are great games, as to which is better? I think I'll make that decision when they both come out.

EDIT: Also, BF has vehicles in it. Where as mw didn't have any and mw2 had a chopper gunner and ac130, both of which you can't control where they go. B/O had a gunship (which wasn't that well designed. You couldn't go up or down) an RCXD(I did like that one) and a chopper gunner(basically a death machine in the air). BF has jets, choppers, tanks, trucks, cars, etc.

it looks very similar to mw2, i agree, but.. i loved modern warfare 2, I have played it around 25 days :p
I got addicted to it, in my opinion it was very fun to play and i kept playing it.

And i have played bad company 2 online and got bored of it. So in my eyes mw2 was better than BBC2 online.

Now with battlefield 3, i admit the game has stunning visuals, both graphic wise and gameplay wise (destructible environment) but Im not going to sit here and say one is better than the other without even playing them.

Im going to buy battlefield, day of release, do the story, play online, then that will build my finally opinion on the game.
2 weeks later i will modern warfare 3, and do the same. See which online i prefer and sell the one I don't like.
If i instantly don't like BF3 then i will trade it in for mw3 instead.

But until then im not making a judgement on 2 games I haven't played yet :y:

lol dude i had 60 days played on mw2 when i turned it in a wk before black ops and i still have bfbc2. only thing i dislike about bfbc2 is no prone and some maps are way to huge. they fixed both of those problem i dont see nothing mw3 has fixed lol but only reason im renting this game is for the new spec ops. iw ill play mp and if i like it i will just take it from gamefly and say it never arrived :420: but 4 years of cod and every year it hasnt changed that much so i kind of know what im getting into with mw3

Getting both is just the easier option but Im 100% sure about which one I will be playing the most
