dude you have some sound thinking there. but the diffrence is its like if it would be mass effect 8 or prototype 8 . its the 8th call of duty series. the 8th and since the 4th one it hasnt changed very much and i do read reviews. and not just IGN. and all the reviews from e3 is that BF3 was CHAMP!!!!!!

Hey guys, I'm just making this thread to say that past couple off weeks I been hearing alot of people saying that they are not gonna get MW3 and BF3 will be so much better and I highly disagree with that. Modern Warfare series is basically best FPS out in market, not even best FPS, best selling series as well. Even if BF3 actually as good as you guys think its gonna be, MW3 will be alot more better than BF3 and I guarantee Most people will be playing MW3. Personally me, I rather play MW3 than BF3. Most of you said BF3 is more realistic and stuff and I don't really don't play a game to be realistic. I play for to be fun. I enjoyed MW and MW2 more than battlefield and battlefield 2. So I'm buying Modern Warfare 3. I will probably get BF3 too but I'm most likely gonna enjoy MW3.

I know a lot of people will begin to flame me and start talking trash about COD since you hate it only because it's popular and only because its publisher happens to be Activision. That's sadly pretty much the reason for the hate COD has been getting recently, which is quite sad, since it's in fact a high-quality AAA franchise developed by very talented devs that just want to please the gaming crowd.

Anyhow, we know that MW2 wasn't the most balanced game in the world, but that's only because IW had that stupid fight with Activision, a lot of people got fired etc. It's the reason they don't want to fix the game, as weird as it may sound.

Black Ops has been a really high-quality title, and Treyarch are beginning to learn how to make titles that rival even the mighty IW. There is no need to hate on Call of Duty because of its publishers or because it sells millions.

Infinity Ward released CALL OF DUTY 4 more than three years ago, which went on to be the most praised FPS game since the original Halo. It became a huge success critically and commercially, was exceptionally good and got the sequel MODERN WARFARE 2, which was even better with more perks, killstreak rewards, weapons etc.

NOW, IW know what people want, in MODERN WARFARE 3. They know what they did right and wrong in MW2 and COD4. They will not make the same mistakes again, such as an overpowered weapon attachment like noobtube, One Man Army or Commando. They will listen to the community, to why the most think CoD4 was the best, and they will make MW3 the best game in the COD series, by far.

IW can't possibly fail this one. It's simply impossible, taking into account how skilled they are, and the fact that they know what people liked in COD4 and MW2, and disliked too.





Okay, first off, the only reason why I wont "flame" or hate on this post is because I'm not a troll and because you gave defense to both games which is something I can respect. HOWEVER,the main problem with your post is that you didn't support with any facts at all. You gave your own personal opinion throughout the entire thing. Lets be honest, people are guna buy and play MW3 because it is indeed popular and what not. But, in MY OPINION (emphasis on my opinion) Call of Duty in general, is nothing more than a "fad." COD 4, WAW were the only games in the series (regardless of how popular each game was or how many copies each one sold) that people played before the series became extremely popular.

Now, for my opinion. (once again, emphasis on my opinion ) I personally don't think MW3 will be the better game this year. BF3 is where Im guna spend my 60 bucks. And the reason for that, is because 1. I vowed to myself to never buy another Call of Duty after Black Ops (which was a really big disappointment in my eyes) 2. COD in general is becoming REALLY unoriginal. Campaign and Multiplayer equally. Don't believe me? Watch the trailer for MW3 and then go back to MW2. There was an underwater level...there was a boat chase/escape mission (the second to last mission in MW2 if im not mistaken) IT WAS DONE ALREADY. I personally will not spend 60 bucks on something I've already played. And also, I watched the actual mission gameplay. I had no enthusiasm while watching it. Nothing that made me think "Holy Crap" or "that was pretty cool". I actually stopped the video 2 minutes before the end. I had hopes that it was guna be good, but nothing manifested.

And as far as multiplayer...dont even get me started. :sleep: they'll throw in a couple new guns to attract peoples attention along with some new killstreaks, maybe re-arrange some perks, and BAM! there u are spending 60 more dollars. And guess what on...THE SAME THING U DID LAST YEAR. i just wana be brutally honest, Call of Duty is a gimmick. And if anyone else hasnt noticed already, its already become the same gimmick that the Madden series is today. Come out every year, same price tag, very little added in terms of originality, and remnants of problems the last one had. (and no offense to Madden. I like it and all, play it occasionally, but im not gonna shell out 60 bucks each year for a new roster..ppssshh) And also the fact that there will always be the one overpowered gun. You mentioned in your post that there wont be one? Fallacy.

COD 4- MP5 (at least thats what I was always getting killed with haha) and no one even try to start shit about my K/D cuz every COD ive had either 1.5-2.5 K/D :evil:
WAW- MP40
MW2- UMP45 (everyone knows that one)
Black Ops- AK74u (holy hell did all the scrubs use this gun hahaha )

So as far as that statement, nothing rarely ever goes against precedence. And if the companies making MW3 don't mistakingly make an overpowered gun, I 100% guarantee that one gun will catch on. Not a doubt in my mind.

so, like i said, a lot of this was my opinion. u need more fact if your guna post something as inane as this and not expect people to reply back like I have. or at least some people are thinking the same thing i am. BF3 has my 60 dollars this year. :black:
For now, Ill keep working on that platinum trophy for Mortal Kombat

I don't expect it to change from an FPS to an RPG. I expect it to be better than MW2 by fixing all the problems they had.

I am not insane. I didn't get World at War or Black Ops. I stopped playing MW2 after it got too modded.

Secondly, you are ignorant for counting 4th to 8th. The 5th and 7th aren't even made by the same producers. So that means there have been 3, oh wait same as Battlefield. The 4th was almost experimental, as it changed FPS games. The 6th was going to a different height of attempting to recreate COD4, while adding in many new features. This one is going to have mistakes fixed from MW2.
