Somehow my MW3 got scratched and won't let me play online. I have my receipt and packing list, and it says opened merchandise can be exchanged for the same item. Well, this is what I plan on doing.

Most likely, the guy will ask me why I am exchanging it. How do I answer this?

I wouldn't see a problem if someone came to exchange for the same thing. It would be trying to get it exchanged for another new game. Tell them it won't load MP. You're no lying. Some discs get scratched so they can't play 1 map and 1 map only. Weird, but it happens.

Just tell them it's scratched it's not like the game is snapped in two or you did it on purpose...

Return it, get a refund. then go in the next day and buy it again.

Snap the disc in half and go there and be like, I opened up the case and the game was broken. Make sure you engrave your name into it.
