i seem to remember that we were promised the ability to connect to people with the same options as us like radar always on or double health an stuff like that.
also there was a iphone app that was supposed to come out for elite that we could customise our classes with in the middle of a game.
also did anyone else notice that in black ops they had a option to only people that live near you (for better connection)

maybe someone has heard news on some of this but right now im like wtf!

they lied like they do every year to sell their product , the got mw2 , moved some code around , made elite ( which battlefield has had for a while now ) charge you guys for it and bundle it with their new game !

What I do remember and will never forget is how when the 2nd dlc for MW2 came out it had the rock glitch , during the same time of release to ps3 , robert bowling tweeted that they were gonna sell us the dlc with exploit and all but to not worry because it wasn't a huge exploit and that they will fix it with the next upcoming patch and that patch was also gonna deal with OMA , we never ever got that fix , so I will never believe anything and didn't buy into the hype like most of you all , cod is a destroyed franchise and its going the same way as rock band , activision knows how to ride a franchise to the ground

its our fault. If anyone thinks that activision actually gives a damn about the COD community you are the biggest idiot on the planet. Take a look at the COD games. They suck and its not all IW, raven, sledgehammers fault. The blame is activisions. They don't have a long term investment in COD. How do we know?

1) They keep lying to us. They say they will fix some things and then when they fix this thing, another problem occurs in a never ending cycle. Look at MW2 and look at all the COD games for the PS3. Come on, stop d*** sucking MS and make the PS3 version at least playable. All the COD have major problems on the PS3 because they don't give a damn about the ps3 version, same with PC and wii. All they do is copy and paste one version to the next and change the names of the buttons.

2) f*** DEDICATED SERVERS. HOW MANY COPIES DOES THIS GAME HAVE TO SELL IN ORDER FOR FAGTIVISION TO MAKE DEDICATED SERVERS. BF EARNS LESS AND STILL GIVES ALL OF ITS CONSOLES DEDICATED SERVERS.

These two facts should make it clear that COD is not a long term investment. As soon as people get bored(its starting, everyone is seeing how all the CODs are exactly the same with no innovation) they will stop the COD franchise and move on to the other money whore games. Fagtivision is probably one of the lowest class of game makers but since they are the only makers of a great fps, everyone is forced to buy from them. Sad but true.

you are right, and dont take me the wrong way. but it doesnt matter, people will still buy the next cod, and the one after that. most people could care less about the stuff they promise and dont deliver. they just buy the game and play it 'since its what everyone is playing'.

Which is why I play on PC.

I dont see what they really lied about? this is becoming a rant thread and can people stop going on about the problems in mw2.. and focus on mw3 and the dedicated servers on consoles are a dream.. which will never be lived. if you say they never deliver on their promises and always lie, then why have you stuck around on COD? because you`ll always buy the next COD.. no matter what.

And Mw3 is not that bad of a game.. they just failed on the Cod elite side.
