Post: anybody else realise infinity ward promised more?

i seem to remember that we were promised the ability to connect to people with the same options as us like radar always on or double health an stuff like that.
also there was a iphone app that was supposed to come out for elite that we could customise our classes with in the middle of a game.
also did anyone else notice that in black ops they had a option to only people that live near you (for better connection)
maybe someone has heard news on some of this but right now im like wtf!

I used to play CoD2 for ages on PC
I'd love to get a decent PC to play games on, I do miss how much better the mouse and keyboard are haha.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 - 9.3 million copies sold
Battlefield 3 - 5 million copies sold
The Call of Duty franchise has so much hype. If Infinity Ward stated they would be releasing Modern Warfare 4 in 2012, that would be huge news. As soon as IW releases the tiniest bit of info about their newest game that hasn't been released, it's everywhere on the internet. You don't see that with BF3. BF3 is a good game and I see that DICE is really trying to make BF the next most popular game, but it won't happen in the next couple of years.

off topic we all know cod is a selling machine but have you noticed why ? its not the onslaught of real gamers playing it it's the onslaught of KIDS playing it , every cod game after w@w has been more kid freindly than the last , now they got rid of killstreak which made cod4 so popular. Now in mw2.5 any noob with support strike package can get a stealth bomber or a freaking e.m.p. yea i know next year black ops 2 will sell like crazy but the FACT is that cod is 2 mainstream which in itself killed the franchise for real gamers
