i seem to remember that we were promised the ability to connect to people with the same options as us like radar always on or double health an stuff like that.
also there was a iphone app that was supposed to come out for elite that we could customise our classes with in the middle of a game.
also did anyone else notice that in black ops they had a option to only people that live near you (for better connection)

maybe someone has heard news on some of this but right now im like wtf!

They said the game would run at 60 fps, that was one thing they said as a key point would make it better than Battlefield. We all know it doesn't run 60 FPS, there are times when ti runs at like 3 FPS

Yes a lot was promised, like customisable killfeeds, and the iPhone app, but that doesn't mean it's not going to be added in.
The new patch system means they can add it in when it's ready, they have lots of things to do, but elite being buggy hadn't helped them, and they may still be working on getting these features out there

Any higher, our consoles will get to hot and fry up!

I think what everybody wants who buys this on consoles is Dedicated Servers, you'd think after what 4 years? they would actually listen to what the community wants rather than ignore it to keep money they don't even need. If they added them it would probably fix a lot of the crappy issues they have.

To the OP : As someone else said the app is coming out in a couple weeks and you will not be able to change classes in the middle of a game, if you edit them whilst in a game then the change will occurs afterwards I believe.

And what are you on about connecting with people with the same options as you? Those see clearly private match options so if you want those go into a private match.
The ability to connect with people is te group option on elite. Create a group for people that wear hats and people that wear hats will join it and you can play with people who also wear hats :p

Like assassin said you all point ou these problems on every call of duty game yet you still play it and buy the next one.
Activisiom have got it all right when it comes to thier games

If you think about it it's good that they didnt give us dedicated servers like PC, mainly because if they gave us dedicated servers when cod4 was released than the cod4 servers wont be up and running now neither will cod5 or MW2 as it will cost them millions to keep it up and running, also what if there's a fault in the server no-one will be able to play online :/.

I suppose the fact the older games would be shut down is true, but the CoD4 PC community is still strong etc. Idk, I just think it's what they need to sort all the complaints they get about lag etc.

CoD4 doesn't run on a dedicated server Black Ops was the first PC CoD game to have a dedicated server.
