WHY do you think that Elite was going to null the contract that is STILL IN EFFECT through 2012? Exactly. In 2012 when it expires, MS is planning to buy it again, just like they did 3 years ago. So you want maps early, get Xbox. If not, then quit bitching.

Its one of those incentives that they keep buying for their loyal customers that continue to pay for their service. This is where that comment "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR" comes in to play.

Before any of you say shit, I DO own both consoles, and have gamed on them both. I just prefer games like COD and BF on the 360. As for my [s]dust collector[/s] PS3, I ONLY use it for Blu-Rays, DVD's and FIRST PARTY titles. Sony has it locked down for Single Player. Xbox can't tough that, but as for CROSS PLAT-FORM (PS3 and 360 games, like MW2, BO, MW3, etc.) Xbox has the MP locked down tight. No hacks, glitchers get banned, early maps, etc. So don't bitch because you can't mow a few lawns or some shit to pay a fair price for a years worth of service.

strange i thought xbox had these same problems should have known better. I got my 1st M.O.A.B and when i tried to view it in the vault it gave me a error message but at least its not as bad as black ops....

Yeah, I haven't got a problem with Xbox getting the MP's over PS3, I mean you's deserve it for paying what you's pay, I'm getting an Xbox myself but yeah.. It does get irritating, but there is a reason behind it as you've stated.

Microsoft paying for early releases is one thing.

But it is sorta shady that Elite has premium memberships even though Xbos still gets maps early anyway. So Activision is getting extra money. The money from MS. AND all the COD Elite money from both systems. COD Elite only benefits activision which is why I didn't buy premium.

I bought the collectors edition not expecting to get premium but I got it anyway, If I didnt get the collectors edition I wouldn't have purchased Premium

Firstly, IW don't deal with the finances, Activision do. Secondly, timed exclusivity on any scale is total BS. It doesn't matter whether you're an Xbox user, a PS3 user, a CoD player or a Battlefield player- NONE OF US BENEFIT FROM TIMED EXCLUSIVITY.
