microsoft contract runs out this year so lets see if sony steps in and puts a stop to dat issue or if microsoft just renews their bull*hit contract

I think Sony should go all out next year and make a exclusive deal where the PS3 gets COD running at 720p 60fps and using at least a 25GB Blu ray disc and 2 months early map packs.

Psn gets a small percentage of money from its online customers compared to microsoft ,so tey wouldn't be willing to pay for anything like that. Microsoft paid something like $50 million to get the contract between them and activision, they can afford this due to the income from their live customers

1st dont say that elite was a waste of money. I didnt buy it because I downloaded the free one and I didnt like. SO if you bought was because you wanted.
And 2º why they fix first for xbox360? Because microsoft paid IW

If i new why they fixed the problem on Xbox 360 first i wouldn't have posted this thread. My guess is because we don't pay for an Online Service thats still really shitty. I own an Xbox 360 all its doing is Collecting dust.

i don't understand xbox users going.....well we paid for it.....!!! Lmao....ya u did pay for it...and thats the only feature for paying to play on xbl ....i have both systems....and i know first hand xbl lags just as much as psn And everything else involved on xbl and still cant figure out wat i payed for.....So ur paying for a yearly membership...and the only thing you have to show is early mappacks.....i feel the least bit salty about xbox getting mapacks early considering they pay a yearly membership....and then still have to pay for the maps....btw the xbox elite i had is sold

I went from ps3 to Xbox and I would have to disagree with everything you said. Since I've got my Xbox I've never looked back. It's a far more social console and service then the ps3.

Since we pay for online that means that the money can go towards future improvements. The new dashboard is soon to be released and ps3 has had the same menu for years. Other great features are the latest news and videos which show you what's happening in the gaming world. Party chat is one of the main features for Xbox which makes it stand out from ps3 and makes it a more social orientated console.

The console loads a lot faster then I was expecting it to and being able to store games on your HDD means you can get the best out of them.

If Sony ever charged for online then ps3 users would expect some of the great services Xbox live provides. But since it is and will likely remain free you can't expect Sony to use its own money to give you more features do you? After all it is still a business so they will be looking at spending as little as they can as the only money they make from existing customers is from the purchase of dlc (obviously games are included)

So the statement "you get what you pay for" is true and as Microsoft has more money coming in from its customers, you can expect great features that you don't get from free psn.
