I happen to think there are alot less of them than people imagine there are, here's why...

There's a uav up and you see someone is going to come around a corner near you, you could either go prone and kill them when they appear or you might quickly hide so when they run past you shoot them in the back.. From their veiw it looks like they've been camp killed.

If you've just emptied a clip and killed 1 or 2 enemies and you know there's more coming, you might be sensible enough to take cover and reload, when you then jump out and kill the next.. It looks like you were camping.

I've often won a 1v1 but took damage so my screen is red so I'll get in the nearest corner and crouch down to recover, just then someone runs by so I do the sensible thing and shoot them.. You know what that's going to look like on their killcam.

Someone has died several times attempting to cap a flag or plant a bomb, it was a hard won battle so they might want to defend it for a little while. When they've killed a few enemy in that area they move on to the next objective but it may seem they've been camping for ages getting cheap kills.

There are plenty of other scenario's that look like camping, such as people hiding to call in a killstreak or taking cover to change their class.
People need to look at the big picture and maybe realise that camping isn't as common as they think it is.

My thing is I actually like the game as well as the COD series. It is an arcade shooter in most respects sure but I fail to see how people are ignorant to keep buying the game.

Ignorant to keep complaining about the series yet breaking necks to go grab the newest one thinking campers,balance and general annoying shit will be gone, sure that's stupid.

But ignorant to buy the series if you enjoy it? How could that be ignorant? Every mainstream success(ie Bieber,Apple, Lebron) has a legion of mindless followes, ANTI ESTABLISHMENT PEOPLE PREACHING THE EVILS OF THE COMPANY as well as the middle ground people who just enjoy the product but the minute something else grabs their attention they have no problem jumping ship. I mean it's not like you don't own MW3.

As far as the "K/D" means nothing farce is concerned. If you play with friends then your W/L is important which will ultimately improve your K/D. However if you play alone then you will lose quite a bit more so your K/D is more important.

Solo K/D speaks volumes. Party W/L speaks volume. Obviously camping and hiding to maintain a K/D is lame but so is Dashboarding to avoid a loss. It's still a videogame regardless so I would hope losing or a bad k/d wouldn't ruin a life however, if you're a competitor you wanna be good at a game. Your W/L as well as K/D helps display how well you play the game regardless of how much people with kdr less than 1 try to convince themselves...

Honestly camping is nothing more than an annoying tactic the COD community does/hates... It's not some videogame law. It's like in Madden people typically pick the best team at the moment regardless of what their real life team is. Is that lame? **** yes. Is that breaking some rule? No

Camping weren't to big of a deal on MW3 when it first came out, but a month in ive noticed a total change in the way people play this game now, as i play domination a lot its very frustrating for me when i have to obtain all my teams flags as they are content to camp a spot an get a few kills for a killstreak that 9 times out of 10 is shot down before it even reaches the map lol

I hope you're not trying to capture all 3 flags or I'm sure your team hates you lol. The point of Domination is to keep 2 flags and maintain them. Camping in corners is lame sure but running around with the point of triple capping all game is unnecessary.

I'm not sure if you're doing that but it sounds like you're the one guy effing up the spawns trying to get three flags even thoug two flags will get you the win and kills easily.

Thats quite possibly true but...even if they didn't promote it...it was still getting a pretty big thing right after cod4. Everyone compares k/d and stuff to measure how good you are. I say its inevitable.

I'm pretty sure the point of domination is to win, as any game mode is, and capping 3 flags will help you win faster. If you need to hold a spawn trap to get easy kills and your killstreaks, then all you're good for is camping I guess. Sure it's nice to extend the game and get more kills, but the point is not just to hold 2 flags lol...

Did you just join the COD series? Triple capping UNLESS you have a party of GOOD players is stupid and unnecessary. Triple capping usually leads to people spawning behind you, people camping everywhere since the spawns are more unpredictable and you lose the B flag because someone is trying to cap the third flag you don't need.

Any good Demolition or Domination player knows this.

Keeping two flags will win you the game, keep the enemy spawning in a general area which cuts down on the spots on the map they can camp in which can yield you more kills. Domination isn't some super long game mode so I don't see how winning "faster" is even relevant but ok. When I have a full party we some times triple cap because we know our team is full of good players and we fight each other for kills. I despise players like you in Dom...If the point is to win why not cap and MAINTAIN 2 flags, win AND get kills instead of winning,giving the enemy more locations to camp and dying all game. It's an easy game mode that people like you make difficult for some reason. You can spawn trap without camping in one spot btw...

LOL nah i only capture all 3 flags when the team we are playing against is awful lol this is normally just when im trying to capture one flag they will all wait around the flag waiting to get a kill or they will stay in their camp places while we have no flags its so annoying now, as i played arkaden last night i had probley the worst team in the world, we had C flag id capture it an then go off an looking for people to kill by the time id got up the stairs by the C flag we was losing it again an that's how the game went all game long lol

Bro, play a SnD game get killed and spectate your teamates and you'll see that some people are realy CAMPERS most of them
