I happen to think there are alot less of them than people imagine there are, here's why...

There's a uav up and you see someone is going to come around a corner near you, you could either go prone and kill them when they appear or you might quickly hide so when they run past you shoot them in the back.. From their veiw it looks like they've been camp killed.

If you've just emptied a clip and killed 1 or 2 enemies and you know there's more coming, you might be sensible enough to take cover and reload, when you then jump out and kill the next.. It looks like you were camping.

I've often won a 1v1 but took damage so my screen is red so I'll get in the nearest corner and crouch down to recover, just then someone runs by so I do the sensible thing and shoot them.. You know what that's going to look like on their killcam.

Someone has died several times attempting to cap a flag or plant a bomb, it was a hard won battle so they might want to defend it for a little while. When they've killed a few enemy in that area they move on to the next objective but it may seem they've been camping for ages getting cheap kills.

There are plenty of other scenario's that look like camping, such as people hiding to call in a killstreak or taking cover to change their class.
People need to look at the big picture and maybe realise that camping isn't as common as they think it is.

I never said it was a rule , I said its part of the community now for a few years. And to just add about your entire explanation on k/d , solo k/d speaks volume only If your a FFA players If not then your just a douchebag who isn't helping your team mates out and only going for kill , and you've been on this forum for as long as I have so you know most of those high k/d is boosted , Call of duty has been the only game where I have seen people "boost" just to have a nice k/d

K/d , Camping , and Killstreaks have messed up the formula , I say go back to 3 , 5, 7 , don't show k/d in learderboards and it will tweak the campers but I think its too late for the franchise , yes the game sold again like a monster but so did rockband , Call of duty hit its peak with Black ops in my opinion. and here comes the free fall with the addition of support point streaks

IMO MW3 has been more fun to play than any other game after CoD2.

It's a lot more balanced, but you have to actually know what you're doing.

People also dashboard to avoid losses... There is nothing wrong with acknowledging k/d. Obviously someone boosting or quitting to maintain k/d has problems. I was referring to 1.5-2.5 k/d as those aren't really that hard to accomplish seeing as how scrubby most players are.

I play Ground War. In TDM obviously being able to hold your own and get kills is pretty much the only way to win. In Domination you need teamwork even more in order to cap TWO flags and maintain. People who can get kills help maintain and get air support and for better or worse air support dramatically improves your chances to win.

In no way do I think k/d is super imprtant and worth boosting,camping nor crying about. However, saying it's worthless like you do is almost like a cliche of saying,"beauty is only skin deep" or "money can't buy happiness".

You pit a team of 1.5 k/d guys vs a team of 1.0 k/d guys I guarantee you the first team would win most games. Being a team player, having a decent k/d,winning and having fun aren't things you have to chose,you can do it all.

I mean any adult should know k/d doesn't get you pussy or make your penis bigger but honestly neither does your w/l. Whenever I see a guy with 3 k/d I expect him to quit if it goes rough. Same goes for guys who have 10 w/l. I like to play with a party so I know they will play the objective, get kills, and communicate.

The game aint changing this year so I mean time to accept it,party up or move on...

Well I can agree to almost every thing you posted except for the 1.5 k.d vs the 1.0 k/d , its all up to the w/l , if the team with 1.0 have a better win/loss than the 1.5 team , they will most probably win , since there team players ,

I also understand the game ain't changing and I knew this before I even kept the game from Gamefly , that's why I didn't purchase it , and stole it instead , I rather not give my money to activision for a copy/paste game from 2 years ago sorry , and as it has proven from our multiple conversation on multiple threads , the game is the same shit , campers , lag , etc ,

You and I are differ because you still enjoy playing the game as where I have gotten sick of the yearly shenanigans with the producers , franchise and the community , and I have multiple games not strictly cod so I as a "Gamer" know when enough is enough

Your k/d can mostly just show how well you take advantage of bad players lol. Honestly having a party will dramatically improve your w/l which will make your k/d higher no doubt. I am not disagreeing with you in that regard. Your w/l as well as k/d gives people a general idea. I say general since we don't know if that w/l or k/d is from boosting,we don't know what game modes people play, we don't know if they quit before they lose or if they have a bad k/d.

I like to play with winners. People who will help with objectives, communicate to kill campers, rushers, whoever and people who can get kills. You are acting as if k/d literally means nothing yet w/l means everythin when that's false. They can both help each other especially in TDM, Demolition, Domination. I play with people with 1 k/d as well as 1.4 and 2 because I know they will help us win and make each other better. I don't feel like I have to chose between going 20-5 and losing or 5-20 and winning. As a competitor I want both. Anybody who doesn't isn't someone I wouldn't play with anyway. They'd be too busy crying about campers, OP guns and giving excuses instead of helping me cap a flag or flank the enemy.

You have every right to dislike COD. The issue is, you can't call everyone who likes the game idiots. The only idiots are the ones complaining about the game yet playing it til the highest prestige every year.

it's like someone eating McDonalds everyday yet enjoying it vs eating McDonalds everyday yet complaining after every meal. At some point we gotta move on. When the game pisses me off, I play another game or try to get some ass. I never understand the point of beating a damn horse and acting like we HAVE to play the game if we don't enjoy it.

When I dislike something, I move on. I don't care about if the company is "greedy" or turn it into anyhting more than a videogame I don't enjoy. It's really that simple. Activision isn't any greedier than EA. Difference is EA was hungrier to take COD down a few pegs. So I don't look at the company, I will look at the individual games. I enjoy COD but acknowledge the issues which to me isn't killstreaks or campers, it's pandering to weak minded players crying for nerfs every time the get owned. The minute I stop enjoying it, I will move on and I don't care to preach how bad the game is to others.
