It has nothing to do with the game. This is an issue with the PS3 itself, as it even has this same problem while I'm not using any app or game on the system (on main screen). And also, deleting messages will NOT fix this issue, as I have already tried that. Nor will formatting the HDD or rebuilding the database. It has been happening to me for about a year now and started right after one of the firmware updates for the PS3. Just wanted to clear up these false claims.
