Great news everybody! hunterr from the PS3news forums has done the PS3 HDD Decrypt glitch, and has extracted some FastFiles from the PS3's HDD. These files are unencrypted, so I did a little SimplyZip, and boom! I was able to take a peek inside the FFs. I edited them, and now we're trying to get a way to get them back on the HDD.
We might do it. MIGHT.
Also if we can do that, we'll work on figuring out a way to get past the RSA Signature(if it's even on the PS3) and then do MW2.

Once i get my new power brick for my jtag i will be able to get this done faster.
( Xbox and Ps3 have the exact same patches now that i have all the ps3 blocks )
MW2 patch_mp is probably signed. I changed 1 single byte out of the whole patch and it refused to boot multiplayer. Unless i just made a partlog- error. Ill look into that whenever im done with WaW and COD4.
This is 1 part of my patch im making now that better work
these 3 dvars will let me save & quit on a zombie map,
and then we will have a zombie save which i hope isnt encrypted ( i dont think Treyarch would
encrypt a file thats not even ment to be used )
how far do you actually think zombies on ps3 is away from hacking[this including even the abillity to save zombies]? Says from the best case, to the worst?
since the patch isnt signed 100% its possible its just a matter of finding the right blocks and knowing how to script.
Im about to test a patch in like 30 mins, just have to wait a bit becuase i injected the decrypted data thinking it was the encrypted data into the hdd :/ so now i have to 0x00
80GB's and that takes a while.
I have a feeling tho i screwed up somewhere in this patch just hope the game will boot lol
Oh but to answer your Question who knows how long it could be in 30 mins or it could be a nether week. I better have it within a week, this is getting annoying doing a hour of work for something
