It doesnt take 'skill' Its easy to hold "R1" (PS3) and sway your analogue sticks side to side and whipe out a room. Takes 2 - 3 bullets to kill? Its far too overpowered and the 10/12 people who use it, know that. With Steady aim the crosshairs are the size of a 5 pence piece(GB). When you spectate people using it, some of them hip-fire at ridiculous distances knowing its going to kill them. I mean whats the fun in running about holding R1? Doesnt it get boring? The only reason I can think of is that people who come top and use it 24/7 think they 'own' at the game in there mind. So they use it over and over. :S You get 10th prestige 65's spamming it with Jug constantly and killing you in 0.5 seconds. Could use ANY gun they want, but the level 10 gun is spammed. You also get people with 'cocky' clan tags; [iOWN] [$Ik?] [PRO*] [2GD!] and not to forget [GOML] but guess what they are using on maps such as 'Seelow'? It makes it almost impossible to kill them when they dropshot/snake which is also becoming a habbit on CoD5. The Dual Magazine has the clip the size of a Browning/MG or even bigger and takes like 8 seconds to run out?! WDF!?!?! I like how CoD5 can 'silence' the grenade launchers 10 seconds into a S& match and give us a map like Makin Day before one of the map packs came out, but not reduce the gun that has messed up the game. The MP40 makes CoD5 boring QUICKER. Ive heard people saying "If the MP40 was reduced, I would put this game down for good!" (shows how much they bum it) Feel free. Then maybe players can rank up guns like M1 Garands or Bolt Action rifles easier. Do the makers not understand that 90% of the people who play the game use it? And maybe they should reduce it 'slightly' so its not CoD5:Mp40@War?
I know 'ie hard 'MP40 fans arent going to be happy with this, but its my opinion.
The sooner MW2 comes the better.

(And no, Im not crying. Just pointing out how pathetic the gun is.)

Hell yeah! Who needs bandoiler when they use an Mp40, right? Bolt actions ftw. Instead of spraying why don't people use a one shot kill gun (most of the time ) it's a "little" harder to use but at least it's more of a challenge.

1.) - Get good scrub
2.) - If others rape with it maybe you should use it

The MP40, I guess, is the mostly used weapon in the game. And using it wouldn't make you a noob, unless you plan to call 90% of cod5 players noobs. Thats just plain stupid, not using something just because everyone else uses it, and because its overpowered. If there is a weapon you could get more kills with, then by all means, go call that gun a noob. The MP40 is a great weapon because its a skill of its own, when your fighting another person with a MP40. Your both equal, its who can shoot first, and who can shoot right.

Personally, I love it for the one reason that it helps people with a red-yellow bar connection (like me most of the time). Since once you get used to it, your just as strong as a light green-green bar connection is.

Yes, i plan on calling 90% of cod players noobs. If they like using the MP40 and no other gun besides it, then yeah they are a noob. means that the only gun they can get kills with is an mp40, which usually means they cant use any other guns very well, which means that they probabley suck. If everyone uses the same gun, it gets kinda boring after awhile anyway, dont ya think?

I use the MP40 all the time but anyone in here who thinks I am noob or I suck add me and I will blast you with my M1A1 Carbine. I can snipe, rush and camp so just because the MP40 is overused doesn't not make people who use it a noob. It does take some skill to use it, every gun has its own tendency's. For example, it is easy to dropshot with the MP40, Thompson and PPSH-41 but it is harder to dropshot with the STG-44. Every gun in the game has some sort of skill that is needed to use it to the fullest!

Is there a difference? A bullet is a bullet, if everyone use the MP40 then what's it to you? Using a powerful gun isn't noobish, it's using a good gun. I can get just as much kills with a Thompson than with a MP40, difference is I like the MP40 because of all the ammo on the floor. Funny how a noob like me always get's the most kills in a game even with a Thompson and the people with other guns get last place.

I don't care what gun you use, it's not going to stop you from using it. What's it to me? Basically if I knew 90 percent of people who play the game all use the same gun constantly I gurantee you, I wouldn't have bought it. But what a shame, I did and what a waste. You get top using a Thompson? Woah!? Your a dieing breed.

No ones saying you suck. The people who suck, are the ones who constantly use it. I mean the ones who use it on maps such as seelow where there is absolute no need. Mm, yeah skill. Celotape your r1 button and sway your analogue stick skill. And gurantee dogs in 50 seconds. Dropshots? OH! Now I know why you had the urge to demand 1v1s. Dropshots are more cheating than actual skill. If dropshots is the way you play, then you truly do suck. Dropshoting your way to a kill/win? Wow. Stgs alot harder because it doesn't have the magical powers the Mp40 has.

don't guess, it's a fact! If your a decent enough player you can get kills with any gun instead of bumming the mp40. I don't use it because it's plain sad seeing everyone with it. Oh good! I've heard " I use it incase someone robs my kill" and now.. Because you have a bad connection. I wonder what 90 percent of cods excuse is! The reality is.. You don't need to bother using more than 3 and a half brain cells to "0wn" someone.

It's always gonna be a gun in any shooting game that people don't like just get pro using a different gun , imo i like the m1 carbine.

I use that until my team has lost 3 rounds which is rare and then I rape with the MP40 to come back and win. I love that gun!
