(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I know this is the wrong section but it takes forever for someone to reply when you post in the computer section so i guess a mod will wove it when he see's i was a bad boy :carling:
But heres my question, my aunts giving me a Desktop cuz she's getting a mac(I know...) and i was wondering if its any good. Heres the link to the same computer You must login or register to view this content.
So with everything it comes with(I mean all the technical features) is it a good/decent computer? And if so rate it on a scale of 1-10

(also dont treat it like a gameing computer cuz i know its not and i wont play games on it anyhow) Also if you think its good, why is it? (by the tech specs i mean)

The desktop is slightly better, but not by much. Definitely get win 7, piratebay had a good link to a copy. You have two good machines there. Smile

The specs on your desktop and laptop are actually fairly similar, but your desktop is slightly more powerful.

There are people here suggesting you illegally download an operating system (Windows 7). I do not recommend illegally downloading anything, its illegal, you can get caught, even if you use a VPN and/or proxy you could still be caught (depending on your ISP). There's a variety of moral issues as well. Furthermore, it's probably an intentionally or unintentionally flawed system, and because its illegally acquired you won't be able to get support for it. Realistically, its not the way to go, pirating a single piece of software, while still bad, doesn't have as many potential issues and vulnerabilities that a pirated operating system will.

I'd highly suggest you look into acquiring a legitimate, paid copy of Windows 7, its not that expensive. If not, I'd suggest you switch to a Linux operating system, its really easy to use and a lot faster and more secure than Windows.

Vista isn't the best to play games on but it is stable. If anything though I'd upgrade to Windows 7, it is well rounded in everything.

Smile

I hate my desktop, but it still let's me get my school work done and program applications in C#. Smile

Hoping that my MW3 Toolkit gets noticed and that I can get people to download through Sharecash so I can get some money towards a new computer, preferably a laptop so I can program anywhere, like a friends or possibly outside of my room.
