(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi NGU community, I have a Dell Latitude D520. And every time I turn it on it turns right back off. This happened for the first time Tuesday of last week. And it's been happening all day today. When I turn it on all the lights turn on and the fan comes on as well then it shuts off. Please help

Well the other thing is to verify that the CPU fan is plugged into the correct header. Not sure if you unplugged that at all when you were doing the upgrades but they have a specific header they have to be plugged into.

The fan isn't starting? Did you try another header or a different fan?

There is no header near the fan other than the one it's plugged into, I took the keyboard off and tried turning it on to see if the fan was working and it wasn't so, maybe that's my problem

That's more than likely the issue. If it doesn't detect voltage it will turn off to prevent overheating.
