Export your bookmarks. Uninstall then re-install. Check to see which plugins you have installed.

Sometimes it can be the browser other times the addons. I had an addon on chrome that caused it to crash all the time until I removed it. Caused memory spikes. It wasn't updated to support the newer versions of Chrome. The same can happen for you.

You have real low ram use this scanner (You must login or register to view this content.) to show how much ram can be installed on your machine, also it will tell you what ram you need. If you have a spare memory stick laying around you can format this and use as readyboost it may help a little. Heres a tutorial Smile

What do you mean export your bookmarks? When I had this problem I tried reinstalling and I deleted all my bookmarks and everything. I actually did this yesterday and didn't install any plugins after I reinstalled it. Here are my plugins I currently have.

Exporting booksmarks means you save your bookmarks for a reinstall so you don't lose all your saved sites.

When does it Firefox crash for you? Is it just at random while viewing other sites or while using things like YouTube which require flash.

Random. Does it look like I have any unnecessary plugins?

You can't clear ram space, your computer has very low ram and that is probably why you can't play the game that well. The more programs you have open the more ram is used and most games minimum use 2gb of ram.

Honestly it's just an old PC. 1GB of RAM with a GPU that I have never even heard of. You are honestly better off just getting a 4GB stick of RAM from somewhere so you can get by until you buy a new PC. No software is going to help you on the hardware side of things. I have never liked Firefox since it always seems to have lag spikes as well as moments where it completely freezes for me too, despite having a rig that is more than capable of using a measly browser (specs in sig).
