Cons: well, the things about him & the things he's done make him seem like a bad person Ex. Economic crisis.
His birth certificate was never proven real, the gov't just did things to get heat off the subject.
The promises he said he would fulfill in his campaign speech haven't come to terms.
The war is still not over, despite the 4th kill claim of Osama Bin Laden and (continued from his promises) the troops are still not out of iraq. In fact, there are more troops in the warring countries.
He also signed an order to stop the use of Guantanamo Bay, but it still is in use
Pros: He DID try and help the economy, and it had a good thing going for a while.
He stopped the collapse of the automotive industry by bailing out GM
He's modernized our military further.
All war casualties are now reported
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act has created 2.1 million jobs
Ended previous policy on torture; the US now has a no torture policy and is in compliance with the Geneva Convention standards
These are just a few pros and cons. Personally, his presidency is a bit too shady for me, and I feel things are worse in our society now than before.
On the other hand. He was sworn in in the midst of a shitstorm, so I can cut him a little slack simply because he had a lot on his plate at the time.
