(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); All right I got a couple questions about it, would appreciate help form someone that is somewhat familiar with the law.

Do you need to be 18+ to perform a citizens arrest?

What types of crimes can a citizen arrest another citizen for?

I want to know cause there is this asain lady that walks up and down the train cars selling pirated movies when I'm going home from school and shes annoying as ****, gets in my face and everything.

Considering pirating movies is illegal I want to know if one day I can just take her down and arrest her?

The movies she's selling aren't her property, that's why it's illegal....

If you make a citizen's arrest it has to be in the presence of a peace officer or security guard. Laws are different on private property though, so be careful. Best idea is to just report her...

I know this because I used to have an ex-con living in my garage and had to make citizen's arrests on him several times, while the cops were here, and they told me the rules..

On a side note, the cops also told me that if someone has broken into your home, you can kill them, but you'd better kill them. One cop told me, have a 12ga shotgun with 00buck shells and aim for the head. You don't want the criminal to be able to answer questions or make anything up. <-- straight from a cop's mouth.

Hells
I'm Back...
In the Uk anyone can make an arrest as long as they have witnessed the crime being commited and when they detain the person they read them thier rights, in this case Evilrip yes you could due to them selling copyright material which is classed as theft, I know this for a fact as I have done this quite a few times in my job Smile no police officer is needed to be present at the time of arrest or witnessing the crime in the UK anyway, I can't say for other countrys

Daddy's home.
Ask a police officer how to do when, when he asks why, just say you're curious. Then perform one on her if you are allowed. I hear America is pretty stupid when it come to suing people, dunno if it is or not, but best be safe by asking the law.
