This topic is something that people normally come across a few times in their life. Why not cross over it again here!

So, do you fear death? If you answered this question with "No", then do you fear anything?

If you do not fear death, then you shouldn't have no reason to fear anything at all, right? What is the worse that ANYTHING can lead to, death?

Was having a talk with some people at work today and this topic ended up coming up. Someone was trying to say they don't fear death the least bit. If it is time for them then so be it. They will die however it is written that they should die. I brought up the fact that he is scared of so many things, why would he not be scared of death. I've brought a frog to this guy and he ran away from it. A FROG. I'd hate to see something that may be harmful like a spider or snake around him.

Basically this topic is about finding out if you fear death. Also would like to know what your logic is behind people who don't fear death yet fear so many other things. Should they fear anything at all?

Me: Hell yea I fear death. Death is a very serious matter. What if there isn't a life after death? Maybe all there is is a purgatory state. I sure as hell don't want it.

I say I don't fear death but fear what lies after.. I do not fear it because it is inevitable... I fear spiders.. not because of death but because of ickyness lol... But death in itself should not be feared but embraced due to the fact that you have made it through life and get to find out whats next...

And people who dont fear death should be able to fear other things because just because you have come to terms with death does not mean you have with other things...

There are worse things in life then death. I think i have a fear of others dying around me. ^_^ but maybe thats because im 15. Sometimes i think what would life be like with my parents dead. I don't know why i think that but the thought itself scares me....

I don't fear death, but I can fear other things because almost all humans have a fear of pain.

You have to remember it's worst to be alive and in excruciating pain than to be the dead.

I wouldn't mind getting shot in the forehead because the pain you feel lasts under a second and after that you'll be dead, thus leaving you with no memory of that pain.

However if you are shot in the stomach it will not only hurt right that second, you're gonna be in pain for much longer.

It is natural to feel fear of the unknown. And that's why we have drugs, because after you smoke a little bit of that tree all your problems go away. **** death

Everyday, I think that today can be be the last day.

So yes, I fear death.

I just ignore it, it will come around eventually. There's no need to obsess over it though because that will just make things worse. It's better to just accept it, and keep on living life. 420 style baby!

I dont fear death, i fear alot of thing but if its your time to go its your time to go. the only reseason we die is that our cells degenerate over a period of time and what is time? a man made idea of life to its end, well thats the way i see it.
