This topic is something that people normally come across a few times in their life. Why not cross over it again here!

So, do you fear death? If you answered this question with "No", then do you fear anything?

If you do not fear death, then you shouldn't have no reason to fear anything at all, right? What is the worse that ANYTHING can lead to, death?

Was having a talk with some people at work today and this topic ended up coming up. Someone was trying to say they don't fear death the least bit. If it is time for them then so be it. They will die however it is written that they should die. I brought up the fact that he is scared of so many things, why would he not be scared of death. I've brought a frog to this guy and he ran away from it. A FROG. I'd hate to see something that may be harmful like a spider or snake around him.

Basically this topic is about finding out if you fear death. Also would like to know what your logic is behind people who don't fear death yet fear so many other things. Should they fear anything at all?

Me: Hell yea I fear death. Death is a very serious matter. What if there isn't a life after death? Maybe all there is is a purgatory state. I sure as hell don't want it.

I don't fear what happens after death because I believe that death is the same as before you're born. You didn't exist then and you won't exist after life.

I fear death. If I see a gun or hear a bullet (not in a video game), then yes.

It's the thought of not existing anymore; not being able to think, not knowing if I don't exist... I don't know it's hard to explain. But yes I fear death.

Death is inevitable, so why fear it? As elfmotat mentioned, we were dead for 13.7 billion years. That's a genius way of looking at it, considering, well... it's true.

While I don't fear death, I will say that I fear the death of loved ones. Although, if you think about it, maybe it's not that I fear the death of them, but the loss of them.
