This topic is something that people normally come across a few times in their life. Why not cross over it again here!

So, do you fear death? If you answered this question with "No", then do you fear anything?

If you do not fear death, then you shouldn't have no reason to fear anything at all, right? What is the worse that ANYTHING can lead to, death?

Was having a talk with some people at work today and this topic ended up coming up. Someone was trying to say they don't fear death the least bit. If it is time for them then so be it. They will die however it is written that they should die. I brought up the fact that he is scared of so many things, why would he not be scared of death. I've brought a frog to this guy and he ran away from it. A FROG. I'd hate to see something that may be harmful like a spider or snake around him.

Basically this topic is about finding out if you fear death. Also would like to know what your logic is behind people who don't fear death yet fear so many other things. Should they fear anything at all?

Me: Hell yea I fear death. Death is a very serious matter. What if there isn't a life after death? Maybe all there is is a purgatory state. I sure as hell don't want it.

I'm only 17, so nah I don't fear death... yet.

That's a valid point and I respect your views however, here's how I see it.

Pain can result in death. Pain is something you endure from a day to day basis. I kinda expect there to be pain now so it never catches me by surprise. You can cope with pain and get over it. Can't say the same about death. Once you die, you are dead.

I dont fear death because there will be better things to come after you pass away.

i dont see how you can fear death. its not even upon you till your dieing and if your fearing death your not living life. so definetly no fear of death here.

In life you should only think about the present try not to reflect on what could or couldn't have happend or what will or won't happen in the future. That is the basis for a stress-free life. Deep .

I don't really fear death..
I actually embrace it.
I am kinda christian and im a good guy so like..im going to go to a better place.
Id give my life for almost anybody.

Nah I don't fear death, it only happens once, Just face it everyone has to die some time and that's that. You cannot change it. Yeah I go for the bright and happy "There is no hope, only death" attitude but hey, i'm not scared.
