You could see we were winning slowly, so you all hop on your rubber dingies and play action man so you can get the Glory of saying you won, when in actual fact, you didn't, you sped up the process of winning. We would have won without you. We had Russia, that's who we needed, not USA. For the size of our country and army compared to Germany and their newly formed "Empire", the soldiers put up one hell of a fight before the glory boys jumped in on the action.

Why you may ask is because America was not formed until AFTER the victory, in which case if America wasn't formed, then neither can Americans meaning that they can't win if they don't exist. That means that it was Britain, Spain, France and the Dutch against our whole Empire. Sorry, but if you get told you (America) won, you have been misinformed in your history lessons.
If we didn't win then we would still be a British colony...

I'm an American and I'm 16. I don't know why you guys think who has a better military or branch of military. But really? The USMC Versus The Entire British Military? The British Military would win hands down because the USMC is just one branch. The Entire British Military can fight in all elements. Land, water, and air. The USMC is just a ground force. But correct me if I'm wrong. How would the USMC get to Britain without the Navy or the Air Force? Common sense. Just saying. We are Allies and there's no reason why we hate each other when we didn't do anything to each other? It's past generations that have done the fighting between Britain and America. We have fought and we're both independent. Who cares who lost? I guess it's just pride. Shame. One more thing, we all can be the best at something. It just takes the effort and time into it to be the best, which I think the U.S. hasn't taken much time to train. Well British has more experience. The more experience you have the better chance you have of winning. I don't know if that makes any sense but oh well. And I personally like British accents.
