BP (British Petrolium), now commonly know in the Southern United States as Bye-bye Planet, has recently been the cause of, “the worst oil spill in U.S. history.”

Clearly State:

  • Who should be responsible for the clean-up. (BP/The United States Government) Why?

  • If this disaster will have a significant effect on ocean-life. (In your perspective.)

I laugh at how ignorant americans are. "It has Britain in the name, it's british." look at the statistics it's america's problem. If the oil spill happened in the UK, america would do **** all.

Can’t trickshot me!
as far as i know bp is only responsible in that it owns the oil, the oil rig itself was american and rented by bp, so idk who is responsible. Dodgy gear?

look at my earlier post this is a snipet for you

The blown-up oil rig was built in South Korea, owned by a Geneva-based company and operated by an American company owned by BP.

BP Didn't have a back up plan incase something like this would happen. Now a lot of people in the South don't have as much money because their business is in the water (Shrimping etc) the less money people have the less their going to spend it if they don't have any to spend down goes the economy...again.

Shit like this happens when your drilling for oil. People use oil everyday and dont realize the consequences it could have like this. The government should clean it up and charge BP for the cleanup. And it should be taken to court, Obama cant say "$20 billion for cleanup" out of his ass, this needs to be settled legally in court.

I don't think we should just willingly let them off the hook, but I think the government should take over the clean up, and make BP pay.
