Kinect is a camera device that will sit near your TV, and it will be able to see all of your movements and translate those movements into the video game. You won't need a controller or a balance board like you do for some of the Wii games, all you need to know is how to move your body around. Kinect is actually a set of 2 cameras. One of the cameras is an RGB camera that is pretty similar to a regular video camera, because it can capture your image. The second camera is an infrared camera that is able to determine between humans and other objects, distinguish between multiple humans, and also be able to judge the depth of your body movements. This is all combined with intelligent software that can actually see over 40 different joints and movements in your body. Lastly, due to Kinect's multi-array microphone, you'll be able to speak out commands to Kinect in order to control the video games with your voice.

PlayStation Move is an upcoming motion-sensing game controller platform for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) video game console by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE). Because it isn't the eye toy, it doesn't just go off the animation on the screen. You are a controller and the actions you do are what causes a reaction, not just standing in front of it clearing a screen of whatever. It is definitely alot more than just some simple camera.


Not only do I think, as well as everyone else that the Wands look really stupid, but wouldn't you rather...lets say punch how you normally would (not holding a controller) than holding some Wand thing that looks really stupid? You are the controller with the Kinect thats alot further than the Move.

Also, before I have said since it is new techonology and it is hands-free, the Kinect will probably have a few glitches an errors with how accurate it is. But after looking far into it, the several years of making it have payed off as it looks nearly dead-on accurate.

they both suck and im not the type of person who would get off my couch to game. Gaming to to relax after a long day. Its only good for fatasses

i'd say kinect just cuz i have a 360... but really i think its dumb and a waste.

Microsoft should have put the time used on kinect into making a better console, and the new 360 is nothing special in my book.

I barely even use blu ray and i down wit my ps2 n my old super nintendo **** next gen consoles they lost what games are meant to be, there are still some out there but very rare alot of games have been raped out of there classicness

Luckofthemoose you sound like a real 360 fanboy and who would want to swing there hands around pretending to have a sword? I would much rather something I can hold And That's were the controller comes in handy. kincet will fail due to accuracy and weirdness
