Kinect is a camera device that will sit near your TV, and it will be able to see all of your movements and translate those movements into the video game. You won't need a controller or a balance board like you do for some of the Wii games, all you need to know is how to move your body around. Kinect is actually a set of 2 cameras. One of the cameras is an RGB camera that is pretty similar to a regular video camera, because it can capture your image. The second camera is an infrared camera that is able to determine between humans and other objects, distinguish between multiple humans, and also be able to judge the depth of your body movements. This is all combined with intelligent software that can actually see over 40 different joints and movements in your body. Lastly, due to Kinect's multi-array microphone, you'll be able to speak out commands to Kinect in order to control the video games with your voice.

PlayStation Move is an upcoming motion-sensing game controller platform for the PlayStation 3 (PS3) video game console by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE). Based on a handheld motion controller wand, PlayStation Move uses the PlayStation Eye camera to track the wand's position, and inertial sensors in the wand to detect its motion. First revealed on June 2, 2009,[citation needed] PlayStation Move is slated for launch in the PAL region and most Asian markets on September 15, 2010, in North America on September 19, 2010, and in Japan on October 21, 2010.[1] Hardware available at launch includes the main PlayStation Move motion controller, a supplementary PlayStation Move navigation controller, and an optional PlayStation Move charging station.

i would disagree and pick kinect because it's hands free unlike move where you have to use a controller and sounds like just an improved version of the wii

Yes it's hands free but it might handle very badly because there is no controller, but idk they both can be good we will have to wait till they are released

Honestly, both look stupid. Mouse and keyboard will never be replaced as the most versatile and accurate input devices.

I've personally voted for move because to be Kinect looks like a pimped out Eyetoy Play 3.

I think they both have their advantages and disadvantages.

The "Move" would be great for fighting games and FPS, while Kinect may be good for simulators and entertainment. I would love to scroll through the dashboard by simpily waving my hands but I cant imagine quick scoping in MW2 with Kinect. With the move I can imagine holding my intervention in my hand and pulling the trigger at the right time, but I can't really do much else with it.

Also I think that Kinect is just an upgraded version of the Playstation Eye. I also read online from many reliable sources that Kinect suffers from many Z-Axis issues where as Playstation Eye perfects these issues.

Just my opinion =). I hope it dosen't sound to Fanboy-ish!
