(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); With more and more teenagers doing reckless things such as: drugs, sex, killing and/or hurting people/getting into fights, do you think parents are to blame for this lifestyle? Discuss.

Dont think so, we are all responsible for our actions. Even if our parents may be to blame, its still ones choice to make such actions.

This is the first time I posted this......The other time I had a mod close it because I did something wrong and there was no way to correct it.

I agree. Parents do not know how to raise their children right and don't teach them enough discipline either.

Daddy's home.
I don't think it's just the parents, it's the entire Country (Britain) that needs to do something. Take this for example. Some guy tried to sell the Ritz Hotel for £250 million when it's in excess of £600 million. The guy was a fraudster, and didn't have anything to do with the Ritz. He got sentenced to (or could be sentenced to) 5 years in prison, for fraud. Now, some teenagers happy slapped an OAP and it killed him. They are getting 18 months in prison. What's worse out of them two? You can kill someone you don't like and get maybe 2 years if you plead manslaughter. You get in a fight on a friday night, you get a fine and a night in the cells. You steal, you get a slap on the wrist. The whole system needs changing. Did you know that in prisons in England they get video games, LCD TV's, gym equipment and other things for being a criminal? Bring back the death penalty in Britain for child killers. Build more, bigger prisons. That's what I think. So to answer you question, it's partly the parents fault and partly societies fault.

Both are to be blamed. The parents should be there for their children and the children should think about their reckless behaviour.

Teenagers are to blame, at that age they should have the ability to be able to tell right from wrong, if they can't they're obviously ****ed up in the head.

I don't know, I think if the kid was raised in a environment with parents who fought or did drugs then yea probably.
