Teenagers these days need to appreciate what they receive from their parents for example: House, food, electronics. But instead they leech off them like spoiled brats.

I don't think it's just the parents, it's the entire Country (Britain) that needs to do something. Take this for example. Some guy tried to sell the Ritz Hotel for £250 million when it's in excess of £600 million. The guy was a fraudster, and didn't have anything to do with the Ritz. He got sentenced to (or could be sentenced to) 5 years in prison, for fraud. Now, some teenagers happy slapped an OAP and it killed him. They are getting 18 months in prison. What's worse out of them two? You can kill someone you don't like and get maybe 2 years if you plead manslaughter. You get in a fight on a friday night, you get a fine and a night in the cells. You steal, you get a slap on the wrist. The whole system needs changing. Did you know that in prisons in England they get video games, LCD TV's, gym equipment and other things for being a criminal? Bring back the death penalty in Britain for child killers. Build more, bigger prisons. That's what I think. So to answer you question, it's partly the parents fault and partly societies fault.

you know you have a point here i dont live in Britain so i cant really say how it is there i do know however that because of yalls strict gun control majority of crimes commited are done with knives take an example that made it even over here that kid from the 6th harry potter movie that got killed outside of a night club with his mom and brother he was killed with a knife sometimes i think we have it worse when it comes to crime than other countries we have pretty lax gun control where i live (i can walk in to a gun shop buy a gun and walk out without a waiting period i know i have 6 guns) but what im getting at is its both the parents and societies fault and as for a kid going on a rampage and his defense lawyers saying "oh its because of [insert violent video game here]" its completely screwed up

i think it's both parents and teenagers, parents dont give teenagers enough discipline if they ask us to do somethin and we say "i'll do it now" do we ever do it now ? and parents just give up after asking a couple of times "/

I think it's partly the parents and partly not. I mean if the parents let them do whatever then yeah, but even if parents do care kids can still do all sorts of crap depending on who they hang around with.

If a teenager wants to be reckless, 99.9% of the time there is no stopping him/her from doing something stupid. If teens want to be stupid and reckless, I hope no one else has to suffer because if it. If I had kids, and I really couldn't control them, I'd just tell them if they want to kill themselves, don't drag anyone else with you.
