(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); What is your outlook on life? I want mature and serious answers.
Think about when you get older, lose your high school buddies, maybe even your best friend or someone you love. Think it through and answer.

I've always thought about life after highschool. When i go to college, which of my friends will I ever see again? ever talk to again? will it all just end? or will I continue my life talking and seeing them? What about after college after i've made friends there? Will i just lose them forever? Or will i find them later in life? I value my friendships over everything in my life. This is something i think about almost daily. It may be wierd, but its the truth. What would you do if you and someone you think you may love go to seperate colleges? What would you do? Think about that.

This is a serious remark. Please don't spam it up with stupid answers or making fun of anyone.

You grow out of it. Sure it sucks but you have to accept it. Its a part of life. You will always have those memories. Keep in mind that as you move on, you'll make new friends that will stick with you each page of life.

My outlook on my future is as follows. You cant live in what you've done but what your willing and wanting to do. I know that my education is what my future rides on, if that means less time with friends, more time at home doing work then so be it. What you have to think about, is what you think right now is your ultimate goal in life, and what it may take to achieve something of that matter, don't let anything get in the middle of your path, and if something does, you have to find a way to get around it. Live life with no guarantees because when you have a guarantee there are no surprises and there is no enjoyment.

Well, I probably will stick to a few of my friends, as i grow up. Sure, I'll lose a lot of them, but hey, that's life.
I am already planning on becoming a surgeon, I'm gonna volunteer in a hospital in the summer. Go to a medical school after Uni.

I may have the most depressing outlook, but its also probably the most down-to-earth, and serious one.

Life is meaningless. It doesn't mean a thing. Religion was created to answer the unanswerable, and to provide us with hope and a sense of meaning. Most people continue to hang on to religion because they cannot cope with the idea that there is nowhere we go after we die. I have not seen any evidence at all to lead me in the direction of believing in any type of deity whatsoever.

The idea of "Us" is simply that; an idea. Our consciousness and senses are created by electrical impulses in the brain. When we die, those impulses stop, therefore the consciousness stops. Although, we derive the theory of electrical impulses creating our consciousness through our consciousness, therefore everything we think of is fundamentally flawed.

If our instincts, produced by billions of years of evolution, allow us to enjoy simple things, and latch onto meaningless ideas then why not? Enjoy your life while you have it, because in truth, its the only thing you actually have.

Hope my philosophy hasn't caused anyone's brains to explode :p.
