Rep is the downfall of NGU, people are afraid to voice their opinions because of the worry of their rep being deducted by users.

I for one think it should be removed, what do you think?

what is this, more reputation you have, the more you give away right?
let me say it easy like this how reputation goes in real life:

I do something good for someone completely not popular or w/e, i get reputation from that guy, his friends will like me more too. = a little rep gained

I helped a real popular guy on college, everyone knows about it now = HUGE REP BOOST.

the more rep you have yourself, the more you give away for liking someone.

Well new joined NGU users, maybe if you stay around long enough and not only look at mw2 hack section and spam everything, you could get the same amount as us.

NGU changed so much already, stop ****ing it up.

I believe rep should stay simply because that is really all I have to show from being on this site for 2 years. I earned every bit of rep that I have received, I never once begged for rep or cried when I was - repped. Yes I agree rep can be a bad thing because of all the people who secretly rep for rep, but rep is a status symbol on this forum and mine has taken a while to garner. After this comment I realize a bunch of guilty people will reply saying "I have earned mine too!" when in reality they haven't and cheated all the way to their first star, so I would prefer for it to stay and if it goes will be disappointed but will live on.

Alright, first of all, this is not college, this is the internet, how things work aren't comparable.
