Rep is the downfall of NGU, people are afraid to voice their opinions because of the worry of their rep being deducted by users.
I for one think it should be removed, what do you think?

Your not the only one that's been trying to say this, there are many members feel this way, we just need some support from the staff.
But instead of saying the rep system is a silly thing to have, I'll word it like this:
Staff ask your self how much time you spend on sorting out problems with the rep system, be it booster, people getting neg rep for silly things and so on?
Could this time be used to do other thing that benefit the site, more than the rep system does?

I don't want to be at this site cos of the way rep is being used, (don't flame, as people do piss about with it) every day I come on here and some one is bitching about the rep system, whether it be people asking for it to stay or for it to be removed.
Most of the forum is about rep now, IMO, you just can't get away from it, there are people that will say if you don't like the rep system then leave, so I say to the same people, if you don't like that the rep system has gone then leave, cos if you are only here for the rep system, then you are not what NGU is looking for.
The staff need to do what is best for the site, and if people want to leavev over a rep number then thay are some what silly, I want to leave cos the rep problem is all the site is talking about, not the games that are out, (the maine reason for this forum I might add).
So lets remove the rep system, people will bitch and cry about it, they may even leave cos of it, but this will be the right thing to do as it will clear all the crap out, and get back to what a forum is meant to be, a place for people to talk about things they have in common, like games, football, cars and so on, not about rep on one single site.

It's funny why people say it will ruin the site if the Rep system is removed knowing that the fact is, the people who would complain about it will be the bullshitters that rely on Kindergarten points to produce good work, and that just means you don't really have much potential at all.
And yes coming from the guy with 2 posts, doesn't mean I'm new to the internet.
