Miss North Carolina may have won the Miss USA competition, but Miss California took top honors as Most Likely to Get Her Ass Kicked on the Way to the Parking Lot.
When out-and-proud blogger and guest judge Perez Hilton asked Carrie Prejean what she thought of legalizing gay marriage, the 21-year-old Miss California word-horked about "opposite marriage" (huhhh?) and rambled, "In my family I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there but that's how I was raised and that's how I think that it should be between a man and a woman."
In a video response, a typically restrained Perez called Prejean a "dumb b----" and ranted that she lost not because of her answer, but because of her inability to answer diplomatically.
We hate to say it, but we (ugh) agree with Perez on this one. Maybe somebody should call Carrie and tell her that you're not supposed to swallow the Crest White Strips.

But anyways, her answer was the right one. This isn't an 'opinion' subject, it's right or wrong and she got her answer right. why she got so harshly affected by it, i dunno. But what I do know is that a helluva a lot more people agree with her than disagree with her.

Correct my fine sir. She got trashed partly because the judge who asked it to her is gay.

People are freaking out because she admitted to being a bigot. Hating on gay people is no different from hating on black people. What if she got up and said "I don't think black people should be allowed to get married"? 60 years ago, that would have been completely acceptable. Think about how people will look back on our generation in 60 years.

She doesn't hate gay people. I think marriage should be between a man and woman partly because God said that's how it should be. I don't hate gay people. Same with her.

So you are going to limit the freedoms of other people because of YOUR religious beliefs?
What about other passages in the bible, such as the one about how you should put to death disobedient children? Or the one about how slavery is good? Do you hold those to be true as well?
I'm sorry, but that could be one of the most hideous remarks I've ever heard.
