Miss North Carolina may have won the Miss USA competition, but Miss California took top honors as Most Likely to Get Her Ass Kicked on the Way to the Parking Lot.
When out-and-proud blogger and guest judge Perez Hilton asked Carrie Prejean what she thought of legalizing gay marriage, the 21-year-old Miss California word-horked about "opposite marriage" (huhhh?) and rambled, "In my family I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there but that's how I was raised and that's how I think that it should be between a man and a woman."
In a video response, a typically restrained Perez called Prejean a "dumb b----" and ranted that she lost not because of her answer, but because of her inability to answer diplomatically.
We hate to say it, but we (ugh) agree with Perez on this one. Maybe somebody should call Carrie and tell her that you're not supposed to swallow the Crest White Strips.

I never said that I "limit other people's freedoms". I said I PERSONALLY BELIEVE just like she said, that marriage should be between a man and woman. Many verses in the Bible are misinterpreted just like those. I'm not familiar to those so do you mind giving me which verses those are??
I don't see how my comment is "hideous". I base my belief on my religion, which is based on my faith and other beliefs, just as you have your belief that there is no religion.

You were saying that that's how it should be. Which I am assuming means that you would require it that way if you were in power. If you were asked to vote for the allowance of gay marriage, would you vote yes? If not, then you ARE LIMITING THEIR RIGHTS BASED ON YOUR BELIEFS. Not THEIR beliefs, but yours.
As to the verses, the bible is rampant with the endorsement of slavery throughout... but if you want a few in particular, try Ephesians 6:5 and Exodus 21:20-21. For stoning children, go to Deuteronomy 21:18-21.
And no, i believe there ARE religions, just no correct ones. And my beliefs are based on fact, whereas yours are based on nothing.
