not completely yet only small amounts but, some explosions have been happening that have weakened the reactor which can cause total meltdown

Not true
The reactor is fine and not damaged by the roof being weakened due to the exploding pipe or something on the roof.
They released a small amount of radiation from reducing the water which was causing high pressure in a water cooled reactor.
They stated that it likely a meltdown has started this is due to the cooling system not restored.
Not the end yet but they are running out of time.
Three mile island showed they can reverse a meltdown
The risk to the US right now is low

It still rated at 4 in the nuclear event index

If they only evacuated a 12 mile radius from the reactor it will not pose a threat to the US 8000 miles away... we did weapons testing in the Atolls in the pacific and even in New Mexico and Nevada with nothing this severe. A bomb is more harmful than a meltdown. There will be localized radiation sickness but it is not a big problem for us on the west coast of the US. If it does spread over here it will be very small. This picture is false.

Yeah no sh**. People like to scare other people. It is a weak reactor anyways they said. I posted a link. It will be nothing like the Russian accident. It will only effect the people living on Japan since the tradewinds blow east. Then there is 8000 miles of ocean. If it did reach the US it would be very weak. No need to worry. When my wife's hair starts to fall out I will worry then.
