The NFL is a great sport but surely rugby players are harder (maybe thicker) for not wearing pads but we will see what people think...

Football or soccer as the americans call it is a national pastime but again a minority sport for americans who just dont seem to be able to grasp the fervour or the basic rules!! Not flaming honestly us english dont do too well in world cup either (we live on our 1 victory in 1966)

Athletics you americans are great at no-one can touch you I have to give you that!!! Although us brits seem to do well (good enough for us anyway) in the longer races (mile marathon etc.)

Basketball over here is hardly played except in our high schools and then its not very competitive!!

So this is just a quick poll to see what the results are....

Please dont flame i'm doing this out of curiosity.

and US sports more fun to watch and you cant argue that

that is one thing i cannot retort to however as was said before this is a US site but more english active in debates??

i think you are right more people from uk voted however us sports more fun to watch??? Sorry we can argue that!! As has been said we go to a game of football in game out all within 3 hours thats about a quarter to you lot with all the stops!!! i have never been to a game where a quarter can last a quarter of a day
