But think of this. Say we came to the end of the Universe, and we couldn't go any further (Barrier.) If we looked at the barrier what we would see behind it is just... blackness (or a different color.) Then we would wonder whats behind this barrier, there has to be something?
It cant just end there.
Or maybe the solar systems are expanding the universe at speeds that can not be measured.
