(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I came across some people today talking about the day of science. Now that provoked me to think, why should gays automatically get our respect? I asked some of them and they said it was because they were born that way. Thet they have no choice. Now being the person I am, I was thinking "proof or gtfo" lol. So what do you think? Are gays really born that way? I personally say no.

They are allowed to choose to be what ever they want (free will) and I believe that they choose to be gay. It's allowed to do any thing you want, wether god want so you to do it or not, makes it right or wrong. God isn't going to stop it, but simp,y allow it. It does effect my daily life when people suspend me for saying that I don't like gays. It effects me when they try to show off they gayness, and make me look at two men making out in the hall way, and no teacher stops it because the teacher will get in trouble. It effected me when my school got sued because they said that two south dressed girls tried to go into prom. They were almost naked, but because they were gay, they got to sue, and our school suffered for doing the right thing.

I think (and please, don't quote me on this) But I think that it mainly depends on how you're raised. I have friends with all brothers and male cousins, which have turned out to be as straight as an arrow. I also have friends who have had nothing but sisters and female cousins. They were brought up around Barbie dolls, working on hair and nails, and male singers. They turned out as straight as a wet spaghetti noodle. I have nothing against gay people, people of a different race, etc. Only thing I would be kind of upset about would be if a gay guy would grab me by the ass. That's the only way we would have a problem.

I've always hated this concept. It basically states "You can do what you want." but then after you do there is punishment for it. It is as if the bank owner told me I could rob him if I wanted to without consequence, then I proceed with it and then get punished.

I have a feeling you said more than that. I'm guessing you said something along the lines I hate gays. That would be considered discrimination. Just if I said, "I hate Christians." or "I hate [Insert political party here]"

You don't see me complaining over my religious beliefs and trust me I get bagged on all the time for what I believe. Kids at school have told me I'm going to hell, and then proceeded to laugh.

Yes they should not of sued the school, but it doesn't make being gay wrong. That would be grouping people together. To what it seems to me, you believe and endorse in a lot of stereotypes.

It doesn't make sense on the surface level, but who knows maybe they are born indisposed to becoming gay later in life.
It is extremely counterproductive for people to be gay, seeing as how they can't reproduce.
I would say social influences contribute to it more than anything else.

So if your not born with it then explain the kids that are very young that don't know any better that play with and want to dress like girls...

idk if you people know this but every human starts out as a women and then changes into a boy.....

who's to say in the developing stages that a part of the girls mentality /personality stays in the brain?

It had to be more then just the environment that does it

How counterproductive could it be? When we talk about the % being gay it is an incredibly small number (In the US alone it is 4%). When you factor in the fact that we are multiplying in a number that our growth is exceeding what we can live on it means nothing. If anything we should be limiting our population increase as it will lead to many problems in the future.

LOL. It would make sense lol. Our world is becoming over crowded. There is a reason resources are being used more and more, and no it isn't just greed its a surplus population.

When they talk about recycling wouldn't the number one way to conserve resources to be have less kids?
