(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hay everyone i kind of couldn't wait to bring up this subject. In my opinion the U.S. shouldn't be in Libya! Why is the U.S. known as the "global anchor of security" (Obama's Speech on Libya). In Obama's speech about the U.S.'s so called "invasion" on Libya, he even recognized the toll war can take on a country, yet he still sent an air invasion right after an 11 year war in Iraq. I am writing this to get different view points because i am writing a research paper on this for school. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY RUDE COMMENTS, THESE ARE JUST OPINIONS. IF YOU HAVE A REASONABLE OPINION ON THIS SUBJECT PLEASE COMMENT, IT WILL HELP ME IN THE PRODUCTION OF MY RESEARCH PAPER.

We're shooting million dollar tomahawks at $10,000 pick up trucks with a machine gun on the back...Something isn't right. But, one of our foreign policy goals is to spread democracy. Yes, there is reason to be there; no, I do not agree with it.

It was the UN's decision, and the majority of countries in the UN voted for it.

Ya it might be one of our foreign policies, but does the US have the authority just to be spreading its form of government. you've never seen the chinese go to war just to spread, idk say buddism. i dont think that the US should have the power just to go war to spread "demos cratias", it where we got democracy which is power to the people.

ok thanks, but still what is your opinion. In my point of view the US is the only country following up on the "UN's" decision to do watever they plan on doing there.

No..... The Libyan people are rebelling against the dictatorship. They have no rights granted by the government. We're simply helping them get it. When you are the strongest country in the world, you have the rights to do anything.

that is very true, i think that over time the US government has evolved into an unstoppable machine. But if you were a politician, then what would you say "Ya, or Na".

Massive amounts of Civilians would have been killed by Ghadafi if we hadn't done anything.
