(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hay everyone i kind of couldn't wait to bring up this subject. In my opinion the U.S. shouldn't be in Libya! Why is the U.S. known as the "global anchor of security" (Obama's Speech on Libya). In Obama's speech about the U.S.'s so called "invasion" on Libya, he even recognized the toll war can take on a country, yet he still sent an air invasion right after an 11 year war in Iraq. I am writing this to get different view points because i am writing a research paper on this for school. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE ANY RUDE COMMENTS, THESE ARE JUST OPINIONS. IF YOU HAVE A REASONABLE OPINION ON THIS SUBJECT PLEASE COMMENT, IT WILL HELP ME IN THE PRODUCTION OF MY RESEARCH PAPER.

I don't know what u consider to be "massive" but hundreds of innocent civilians lives is alot to me. There is no justification for this war at all, we shuld have never intervened just left it to the U.N. Point is the damage was done by the time the U.S had intervened if we would have hit Gaddafi two weeks the rebels had occupied all cities surrounding Tripoli (meaning we had him pinned). But of course we chose to wait it out. Also, think about this for a second. Think of all the people dying protesting right now in Syria and guess what we are doing there OH YEA ABSOLUTELY ****ING NOTHING. This whole conflict in the middle east has just spiraled since Tunisia...damn

Only thing I can say:

Im watching tv and Im thinking: We should do something for all those people, they're getting killed for no reason. But how's this ****ed-up system in this world thinking: Democracy and genocide is bad, so we have to intervent. *cough* I mean : Oil is the fuel for the ****ing system, making them intervent in Libya... No other reason seriously..

People are getting killed everyday everywhere in the world. Life is just a bitch.

yea man its a shame.....unfortunately we cant do anything about it. These countries have been around longer then us. We cant interfere r ideals of democracy with theirs.....even if we eradicate dictatorship from their how long will it truly last till a greater power comes into play (Muslim Brotherhood).

Dont make some uneducated remark buddy....there is nothing funny about this situation. I think the U.S made the right the move in Libya, however it came too late. 2 weeks before the U.S declared "war" on Libya Gaddafi was pinned down in Tripoli while all the rebels had captured all the territories surrounding Tripoli. Essentially all the U.S had to do is step into the equation then and Gaddafi would be no more. However, we as a nation decided to wait it out and in those 2 weeks we waited Gaddafi once again regained those territories that we taken by the rebels. Its sad too c such a mal representation of our country that is manifested into the body of such a helpless leader like Obama. Essentially he is another Jimmy Carter. He has no sense of power, control or foreign policy. I just pray 2012 brings good things to r country.....:y:

Im also muslim.. The main goal of the people is freedom/democracy.
The people will decide their own futures, with the muslimbrotherhood or without. It doesn't even matter.

Yes exactly i wouldn't call them uneducated, but all politicians from every nation make promises. No one knows if they can keep these promises, not even the leaders themselves.

i don't think the US thinks its funny, but we just don't understand that every time we try to help someone, we end up making something worse for ourselves
