Do you guys have any tips on how to stay away from cigs because i'm already wanting a cig....

try the nicotine patches or something, quitting cold turkey is really difficult, good luck tho Smile

Congrats bro and good luck! I have been trying to quit off an on for a long time. The only thing that ever helped keep my mind off of smoking was staying busy.....maybe put some overtime in at work or something to keep your mind occupied.

Stopping all at once is too stressful.
Set yourself a goal such as stopping by June 1st.
Realize how often you smoke, and slowly cut back until you can just have one or two a day.
After that, it should be no problem. :y:

Yea I did that and I was down to one cig a day then I decided to quit.

Good luck truly. The only way I quit was by getting one of those electronic cigarretes, and all they do is give you nicotine, no smoke or carcinogens.
