This is the fifth NextGenUpdate Community Update, the week of May 23rd, 2011.

Rep Update

Yes, rep is gone. After a long discussion with the staff, we have decided to approve the removal of rep. Note this is a temporary change. We still need Outsider's decision on this situation. We still can turn on the reputation system in one click. The "like" system has been in place since the vB4 upgrade, so it acts like the rep system without giving you rep.

Name Changes

As always, do not ask an Administrator to change your name. You will have to pay around 200,000 vBux to get your username changed.

Removal of rep is definitely worth it. Although, you could implement a new system of somesort, maybe leave it up to the members to decide? I 1000% agree on the removal of rep, as it's just breaking the community apart.

I know right. To many arguments over stupid numbers. I totally agree with your sig too, don't need to worry about being hated on with -rep over nothing.
