This is the fifth NextGenUpdate Community Update, the week of May 23rd, 2011.
Rep Update
Yes, rep is gone. After a long discussion with the staff, we have decided to approve the removal of rep. Note this is a temporary change. We still need Outsider's decision on this situation. We still can turn on the reputation system in one click. The "like" system has been in place since the vB4 upgrade, so it acts like the rep system without giving you rep.

Name Changes
As always, do not ask an Administrator to change your name. You will have to pay around 200,000 vBux to get your username changed.

I think many people would be somewhat excited for it, and maybe be on the site moar :angel:
Seriously, make announcements before things are going to happen, even if the site doesn't agree, people will prefer it, and less members will say that you are going behind our backs: blah blah blah.

The only thing that feels more pathetic about still talking about the Reputation system is expecting Outsider to come back here in the next couple of months and do anything about it.
His regular leadership over the last year would have gone a long way toward fixing this and several other problems with the site.
He has the most ruined reputation on NGU ....
